About this listen

An international Amazon best-selling title. Includes all three novels in the Riven Wyrde Saga.

They thought the fae were a myth.... They were wrong.

As the son of a mere merchant, Klöss wants nothing more than to pass his trials and join the ranks of the Bjornmen raiders, breaking free of his father’s ambitions and following in the footsteps of his forebears. Times are changing in the Barren Isles. The centuries-old traditions of coastal plunder are making way for outright conquest, and the threat of war is looming.

Found abandoned in the forests of Anlan, Devin wants nothing more than a simple life. But fate, it seems, has other plans. As his sleepy village transforms in the face of foreign invaders, rumors tell of creatures seen in the moonlight, shadowy figures with eyes of amber flame. The fae are returning to the world of Haven, and vengeance is within their grasp.

As the first battles rage between the Anlish and the Bjornmen invaders, only one man knows the true threat facing Haven. But can he convince anyone before it is too late?

More than 100,000 copies downloaded worldwide from this epic fantasy series, perfect for fans of Patrick Rothfuss, Feist, Peter V. Brett, and Brandon Sanderson.

Riven Wyrde Saga

Enjoyed this story! Characters were well drawn, and consistent throughout the story line. The only problem I had was keeping up when the story line shifted from one area to another. There was no defined break to signify the change, and often I would have to backtrack to make sense of where I was. Aside from that, I thought the story was most interesting!

Quite the pleasant surprise!

I got this omnibus on a whim. I was pleasantly surprised by both the story AND the narrator.
The story is brutal in places and slow in others, but overall quite good.
Take a chance!

good not great

great setting, decent characters, and a little slow on the pacing. too much virtue signalling and revisionist history junk. enjoyed it. worth the credit.

Excellent slow start but worth it

Great characters and pacing after the first book. Things move swiftly and the book gives a good amount of detail where needed.

1.5 Books to Long

The concept was solid and the three main characters great but it was overlong and to many rabbit trails. I still encourage you to check it out though because the good definitely outweighs the bad. The biggest challenges is it almost felt like the author thought for it to be solid fantasy each book needed to be a minimal length. In reality, he could broke this down into one long book, and took out many of the side characters and the overlong storyline with them, and focused on the main protagonists.

This was Amazing

This Trilogy has a nice moderate pace and everything is done with a Purpose. the build up for some characters may seem like it's going nowhere but it does absolutely get there for every character we focus on. My ONLY complaint comes at the end of book 3, and no spoilers... THE EPILOGUE NEEDED TO BE LONGER. That's it, that's my major gripe.
