Good, but not my favorite of Bryn Greenwood's. I really like Greenwood's unique writing style but the story and characters didn't resonate with me as much as her other books. The ending was a little unsatisfying as well.

story line was good but felt strung along at the end with too many loose ends, I needed to know what realy happened with Olivia's brother and if Jennifer ever told her story and made piece with her advocacy for Gale's daughter and if they ever found the little girl. I feel like it just ended and narration was a little off especially for Ryndal.

This is more tame than Bryn Greenwood’s other books, but I still loved it. She is such a wonderful storyteller.

Boring storyline.. no real ending .. left lots to be desired and feels unfulfilling. The narrator… worst I think I’ve ever listened to. How can you be a narrator and miss pronounce words? Her idea of a southern black mans voice was appalling and you should’ve just had a black man read for themselves.
