About this listen

There is something very wrong in the Arnolds' new home. And that something is stalking their daughter.

Originally released several chapters at a time on the podcast Ghosts in the Burbs, Lilith is a tale of demonic possession, motherhood, and isolation.

I found the overall experience enjoyable but these are my gripes:
- while I enjoyed the narration, it sounded echoey the whole time
-I get not needing a bunch of gore to make something creepy but it needed more backstory or SOMETHING.

I'm usually more of a Stephen King Dean Koontz reader so it was nice to switch it up. would be appropriate for young adults for sure!

Great story read by the Author. Or is it just a story?! I'm a fan of Liz's Podcast Ghosts in the Burbs, she has an amazing way of storytelling and the perfect voice for your listening pleasure.

Scary as Hell!

I loved this story and she is a great narrator. I have listened to both her stories and her blog.
I love all of it and hopes she writes more books.

can't wait for her next book

It’s spine-tingling, goosebump-inducing and has all the roots of my hair standing at attention. But don’t listen to this at night when you’re alone! Unless you’re prepared to spend the whole night awake that is. The story is part of her podcast “Ghosts in the ‘Burb”, which I highly recommend as well.

Spooky!

I love listening to Liz narrate her stories. I feel as if I’m “right there”. Her stories take me away…

I want more….

It’s a thriller story for kids. Good thriller, but for kids. It goes VERY SLOW. I almost gave up but it was cool about 1 hour before it was finished. This is not to say that it was a good story. It was a great story to read you little kids before bed.

The writer narrated the story. Although it was her story and she did a good job reading, there were no differences in character voice. I got confused as to who was talking at times. This is a great story overall, but was not made to scare adults.

Ages 15 and up and horror buffs should know this is not for you

Overall a good slow build, but things were left hanging and issues with people hinting or foreshadowing just left unresolved. But overall a good slow creep ghost story.

Good but a little slow

I love Liz’s podcast and saw that she did the book of Lilith and had to hear it. Love her narration of the stories, left it standing so I truly hope there will be more to Lilith’s story coming soon.

Good listen

Liz does a wonderful job of blending the normal everyday with the extreme weirdness of the paranormal. I highly recommend her books, blog, and podcast!

There were parts of this book I was truly scared and looking around my own house. I really like how the author builds on character development throughout the story. I also like how it switches from the main character’s view to a more objective flow. The ending begs for a second book to follow up. Please write a sequel!

Scary and fun!
