About this listen

Something evil is coming to Kissing-Brooke, Missouri.

Reece Karkoff's life derailed when her mother killed her father. Now, she lives on a defunct farm in Missouri with her Aunt and her cousin, who treat her as one of their own. Reece thinks her mother's violence is behind her ... But she's unaware of the cult that has moved into the woods beside the farm.

Vagabonds and psychopaths, the cult worships a demon-god—a demon-god whose blood changes those who ingest it—and they are mutating the good people of Kissing-Brooke ... House by house, shop by shop, person by person … Turning decent, humble folks into maniacal monsters …

As the evil spreads through the town, Reece and her family will have to fight for survival … Can they avoid falling victim to the cult and their twisted deity?

WARNING: This book contains extreme gore, violence, sexual abuse, and blasphemy! Listen with caution!

“LOW BLASPHEMY, HIGH HORROR”

Loved it . Coming from binging all of Aaron Beauregard’s extreme horror novels . I wanted to try a different author and was not disappointed. Loved how this one took a bit more time to build up the horror and gore and focus more on the characters . Definitely recommend.

Zombies with wings. I mean demons.

This was a fun apocalyptic story with an excellent ending. Lila Kerry gave a smashing performance. I especially liked the dual-voiced fallen one near the end.

What a master mind

Fantastic story line, gripping characters and to top it all of with an unbelievable very talented story teller. The combination of the two held me by the edge of my seat. Thank you to the author and the story teller.

Great Narrator

This is one of the longer stories from Judith Sonnet. She brought this story together magnificently. Then she brought in the great Lila Kerry to narrate this story. What are you doing to me? I loved everything about this. The plot twists, the story, and narrator made this 5 stars.
