Hop on the 'Sconnie Bus for a really fun ride!

Great stories with lots of unexpected twists. The ending of book 3, Undead Cheesehead, is one of the most unique ways I've ever heard to stop a zombie apocalypse. And the ways Herb contracts vampirism, Dallas contracts lycanthropy, and Stanley becomes a zombie are truly unique!
The narrator did a really good job with the different voices and pronouncing the unique Wisconsin names.

I burned through these real fast

I picked the set up on a reference through a book group. It was definitely a good read and I’ll be watching out for future installments. It’s kind of like Bill the Vampire if Bill was a cook at a truck stop. Although I liked the books I think the author missed a great opportunity to have all the stories overlap in some way so we could get a chance to see some of the events through other characters eyes. I would of loved if in book 2 we found out the society was behind Big D’s actions in book 1. Or that Herb’s problems had been going on through book 1 and 2 and no one had noticed.

I also want to add that I had never heard of the narrator before but he does a great job. I’ll be checking out his other books too.

I hope you have your snacks ready.

When You start this three book series you will find yourself drawn in until you get to the very end. Author Scott Burtness provides the perfect mix of "Holy Crap" "Did he just say that" and "What the heck is next". This humorous Horror title will drag you to the North woods of Wisconsin and won't let you out until you have decided you want to become part of this Clan of mixed up monsters. Narrator Ray Lesniewski did a perfect job of bringing these characters to life.
