About this listen

"If you've ever been in a remote area when something terrible goes wrong, then you know the fear of utter helplessness. Mosquito Man nails this. A superbly crafted psychological thriller." (New York Journal of Books)

From USA Today and number-one Amazon best-selling author Jeremy Bates comes the first book in the all-new World's Scariest Legends series.

After a woman bangs at the door in the middle of the night and promptly dies from her injury, a couple's remote cabin getaway becomes a psychological night of terror as they are hunted by an unknown assailant. Now they must go far beyond what they thought themselves capable of if they hope to save their young children and survive until morning.

I enjoyed this. Very worth the money and time. Good storyline and character development. Wasn't the biggest fan of the ending but that may be because I liked the characters and wanted to hear more about what happened to them.

Good story

The story started out strong but then seemed to teeter when it should have been getting good. Definitely unpredictable and a bit odd such as suicidal behavior happening out of nowhere and other children being addressed early on to not have any cause or consideration later.. a good read just not seamless.

good.. but

The story was good, but unfortunately this narrator made this not an edge of your seat thriller. Not at all.

the scenes that could be very spooky and intense he read like the back of a shampoo bottle.

He read everything the same even when it was dramatic.

Narrator ensured NOT edge of seat thriller

I do not recommend this book at all. The narrator did not help the story any . He read like he was a record on 78.
