About this listen

College is hard. A succubus girlfriend makes it harder.

Aaron Lange has pinned all his hopes on law school. He's been busting his butt to keep his grades up and keep the scholarship he's worked so hard to earn.

Then, his world is turned completely upside down when he runs--literally--into the girl of his dreams.

Suddenly he can't focus on school, his grades are slipping, and Aaron is facing the very real possibility that he'll lose his golden ticket. It will take all his self control to ignore his distracting feelings and double-down on his studies.

But Seraphina, the mystery girl who seems to show up everywhere Aaron is, won't let him forget about her. He sees her beautiful eyes everywhere he turns, watching him.

It's like she's... stalking him.

What Aaron doesn't know is that Seraphina is a succubus, banished from the paranormal realm to live life as a human. Unless she can make a human fall in love with her without her demonic charms, Seraphina can never return to her world. And the catch? She has to fall in love, too.

When she meets, Aaron, Seraphina thinks falling in love might not be so difficult after all. The only problem is getting him to notice her when his nose is always stuck in a book!

Well, that and... telling her father, the Demon King, that she doesn't want to come home anymore. Not if she has to give up Aaron to do it.

Good and simple romance for men

very good romance story played pretty straight. No saving the world, just a nerdy college student trying to keep his scholarship and a cursed succubus who has to fall in love with a human. it's not revolutionary, but it's a refreshingly direct romance story for men, which is exactly what I was looking for

Awesome

Way better than I expected, the sequels should really be something good if they continue this as a series.

Slice-of-life love story ❣️

Well I can't say that a succubus fell from hell and caught love for a human. But I'm not sure how to say it correctly.
So, she has a fight with Cupid and this slice-of-life ensues.
Great story and characters.
I'm giving this book 8 out of 5 stars.

A cupid's curse or blessing?

A great and fun story.
Kinda cheesy but we all love that cheese.
An awkward youth meeting someone who is unused to mortality. Passions clash and love sparks.
Very recomended

👏👏👏👏👏I hope there are more books to come in this series! The MC is great along with a really good supporting cast! The story is captivating! The narrators also do a good job of bringing the story to life! Great job Peter North!

Too fast, disappointing

Strong start, sets the stage for a good romance. But the execution is such a disappointment. I enjoyed the performance of those reading the book.

***some spoilers ahead***

Compliments:
-Supporting characters are good, I really liked the old lady and the best friend.
-His siblings were interesting and moved the story forward.
-MC is a believable nerd with room and drive to grow and become a better person.
-FMC starts off as an interesting fit for a nerd when she was a demon and actually had a personality.
-The circumstance leading to the succubus turning into a human was interesting and well crafted.
-The background stress of his scholarship was a fun way to add low stakes pressure to the story

Problems:
-Too much detail when it came to the scholarship focus
-All the setup was for them meeting. As soon as they meet they are blind, in love, and move way too fast. It's feels undeserved
-The MC is the first person the FMC sees, and that's why they get together. Not because he is a good person, he just ran into her first, is socially inept, she misinterprets it and that's it. She is stalker level in love with him
-The fact that a strong FMC with a background, motivations, and a personality is transformed into a submissive, spineless mary sue pick me doormat who is the MCs cute little fuck bunny is insanely disappointing. They know nothing about each other, but shes willing to let him do anything
-The author wanted to put in the cliche guy chases girl in the rain to show his love scene, but didn't do any work in setting it up or building tension so it meant anything.
-Both MC and FMC give the other the benefit of the doubt to an unrealistic degree
-I cant stress this enough, but why do they love each other out side of the fact that he was the first person she ran into, and she is super hot and gives him the time of day.
-MC becoming a dom and leading the sexual encounters? She is clueless because her magic was an auto-pilot when it comes to seduction?
-There are some REALLY cringe lines. It's in character but not as a joke and it was...weird.

I just wish it was a little longer, they set up better reasons for the romance to exist and didn't bait and switch the FMC's personality

Cupid's arrow hit her in the ass, she died, and someone isekai'd into her human body. You can't tell me otherwise and it ruined the entire book for me.

Very Short and a Little Flat

This title is very short and two dimensional. The story is not particularly engaging and the delivery is a little flat. It reads more like a story outline than a proper story, but it’s far better than a lot of the stories that are pushed out and read with AI.
