About this listen
A warrior reborn. An enemy fueled by death. A fight for humanity.
Mercenary captain Sabine Giroux knew that death was a constant companion in her line of work, and when it finally happened, she wasn’t surprised.
What surprised her was that she didn’t stay dead.
Brought back as an undead revenant by the god Gnessos, Sabine is tasked with stopping a foe that seeks to siphon the power of death and destroy everything she holds dear in the process.
With a lifetime of combat experience to draw upon, Sabine must gain Gnessos’ favor to grow more powerful and fulfill her role as his champion. But with every rank of favor that Sabine gains, more of her humanity is lost as her undead nature threatens to take over…
From the bestselling author of Limitless Lands and Derelict comes this action-packed Fantasy LitRPG Adventure. Mythica Revenant is officially licensed by Arrowstorm Entertainment and is set in the amazing fantasy world of the cult-hit film series Mythica.

Story
The Young Gods Tournament awaits. Only the victors will break through to the worlds beyond the heavens. In an unfair world where a single monster can wipe out an entire village, Thomas is not one of the chosen few. He wasn’t gifted with immense power from the moment of his birth, nor does he have a powerful backer to defend him. By the laws of the world, it’s near impossible for him to rise to the top. But where the god’s themselves have failed him, Thomas will push on and gain the strength to protect his friends, and his home, from the ever rising dangers of the world.

The noble houses gather to choose a new Lord Protector, sparking old rivalries. If they can't agree, civil war looms. That is if foreign kingdoms don't smell blood in the water and invade first. Lord Vale wants to take up the mantle, spurred by his ambitious brother Konstans. Lord Isarn likewise seeks this power. He is aided–or thwarted–by the return of his brother, the knight and war hero Athelstan, whose squire, Brand, hopes to restore his family’s fortunes no matter the cost.

Story
After an accident, Laran wakes up in a strange fantasy world governed by a System, with his only knowledge coming from his fiery tutorial assistant, Toot, a faerie who is more snarky than helpful. Even worse, the Undying Empire is hunting him for reasons he doesn’t understand. That means hordes of undead soldiers, dark assassins lurking in every shadow, and worse. The good news is that apparently he is considered a Glory Seeker here, meaning he's able augment almost anything he does by using points of Glory, a resource earned through actions in the world—heroic or villainous.

Story
Our retro-tech towns might seem idyllic, yet go beyond the arcades and coffee shops and you'll reach the danger zones roamed by bionic bots. Me? I ran a video store with my cute friend Emiko. She's always been a little different, so I had to look out for her—we usually just watched movies and played games together. One day, a suspicious pink-haired chick burst into the store, warning me not to watch a tape labeled Property of Steelheart—Do Not Watch! So obviously, I did, and a terrifying ghost crawled out of the screen.

Go ahead follow Dean Henegar into Mythica you won't be sorry...
What a great contribution to the up and coming gamelit genre. This is Dean Henegar's second series, the first being a trilogy starting with Cat Core. Which I loved so much that I found myself following Dean Henegar right into Mythica! And Mythica didn't let me down. I loved this book and the MC so much and found that it was so different, that honestly you won't be able to tell that the same author wrote both series. Like I said I loved the MC from the get go. From the moment when a God found her in the void and resurrected then ordered her to get up to worship it, where upon she replied "NO" that she wasn't gonna kowtow to 'em, she wasn't gonna be anyone's puppet! And even though she was now a revenant she would make the best of what she had. Powerful but not infallible, and surprisingly she made some friends something she never had, had in her life!
So yeah follow Dean Henegar into Mythica and go ahead and get the audio version because it's great!

Great first experience to a Literature RPG!
Honestly had no idea this was a Genre, thought Solo Leveling (the manwha) was just a one off thing but to see a whole book with a similar concept was very awesome. This undead revenant class was super awesome and I really enjoyed learning more about it. I thought the narration could be a bit better but overall it didn't detract from the story.

A Wonderful Change of Pace
The story is very different from most of my previous reads. I really enjoyed the action and dialogue scenes. Found myself chuckling at the main characters responses a couple of times. The narrator did a good job voicing the characters throughout the book. I like the unique storyline and absolutely loved how well the story unfolded. Can’t wait to check out the next in the series. Give it a chance and you’ll not feel letdown.

Promising!
As a standalone book, it left me wanting more, making me feel as if the MC was just warming up with a couple of side quests. But knowing this is just the beginning of what promises to be an exhilarating series fills me with excitement! I'm eagerly looking forward to seeing where the story goes from here, especially for the chance to follow a character who's genuinely likable and doesn't lean on slapstick humor for appeal (I've had my fill of that recently).
I'm genuinely thrilled at the prospect of diving into more books in this series! I just wish I had an idea of when the next one is coming out.
