Terrible book. Complete waste.
I don’t know where to start. These books are a joke. If you’re looking for anything to do with neuroplasticity, don’t look here. The author clearly just used that word to get people to buy the books. The first two sections never even mention neuroplasticity, and the third section barely touches on it. What it does describe is just regurgitated cut and pasted information from Websites that just give a very basic explanation of neuroplasticity.

Very nice
You have to like something like this. This audiobook cost a lot of precious time to create and narrate. I've discovered that certain books are pretty much trash, and that saddens me. But this particular audiobook did not follow that trend. It's actually truly great. So, I appreciate it.

The most poorly written book I’ve encountered in 50 years
There are several critical flaws with this book. First it is completely disorganized. It talks about something then it jumps to a different topic. Then it jumps back to the first topic. Then it jumps to a third topic, and then it jumps back to the first topic, and it does this repeatedly in a entirely chaotic manner. Second, the book reads like a dull textbook, absent any antidotes that would bring human interest. The topic is rife with examples that would engage the reader. but the textbook only provides repetitive dictionary style definitions without context. Third, the book title is completely misleading. It has no coverage of the actual concept of neural plasticity. Instead, it talks about the functions of the various glands of the brain, in a very non-plastic sense. A fourth problem is that there are actual falsehoods proclaimed in the book. There is hocus-pocus about using frankincense and myrrh. Aside from these critical flaws, the book is simply a very poorly written arrangement of words, which sounds as though it was originally written in a non-English language, and then someone translated it without correcting for variance in flow in the English language. If I could get my credit back, I would very much like to do so. Not recommended.

worst book ever
There is a little bit of science in the first section of the book, and then it completely devolves into the most sexist, ignorant generalizations I've ever heard. I'd expect to hear this stuff in the 1940s. It rambles about how women are emotional, and better caretakers, while men are better at business. It makes absurd generalizations about mother-daughter relationships being easier than mother-son relationships, about certain personality types being more likely to cheat- total pseudoscience. Complete waste of my time. :(

light and basic
Very little depth in any topic. I would expect this type of content to be served as an introduction in a high school class. There is also a mixed of well known pop culture myths that the author seems to take as fact.
