About this listen

My cheating ex has me swearing off men. Until Lewis comes along, stealing my breath and my good sense.

I've never been one to lust after guys. But Lewis is six-and-a-half feet of rugged man, and he's...eye-catching. Sexy. And silently brooding in all the best ways.

The more time I spend with him, the naughtier my thoughts are of us together, and he's not helping put a stop to it. It's infuriating. I'm fantasizing and lusting, and I can't remember why I wanted to stay away.

But Lewis carries his own relationship baggage. Baggage that could break me in ways no ex-boyfriend ever did.

Despite all the reasons I shouldn't get involved, Lewis might be the one man I can't resist.

Excerpt:

He tugs down his shorts - and goes completely naked.

He glances up. "You can stay in your panties. I'm getting clean.... What? I trust you not to grope me." He grins.

Previously titled Mountain Man.

Not Bad

Enjoyed this book as much as the first on. with the exception of Mira. Her way of thinking and how she treated Lewis whenever he was interested in anoth girl was a bit much for me. Also, I wish that some of the books offered the male's POV (unless there will be another set soon to come that does), then I'm game!

So many emotions

This book had my emotions all over the place. I'm so glad that Jen ended up becoming confident enough to stand up for herself when being harassed. Drake was a creep and should never be a man of power again.
I'm so glad that Jen was able to connect the dots to her past and build a better relationship with her mother and father.
All over a great book. My favorite out of the series so far.

Never Date a Player

This story had some triggers in it and thete should have been some warnings in the description of the book. otherwise it was a good story with many twists and turns. it was also inspirational when Gen decides to run the mudder to gain more confidence. She's a very strong girl for everything that she goes through and the surprises she has thrown at her.
Her relationship with Lewis is complicated at first and continues that way for most of the book. it could have been cleared up much sooner. it also would have been nice to have duel narration

Great story

This book didn't disappoint. 👏🏼 👏🏼 I only wish we could have found out what happens to the POS Drake. 🤞🏻Fingers crossed that it's in one of the other 3 books in this series.

I almost gave up on the series after the first one, but it's getting better.

Not the greatest...

The female character(Gen) is super annoying, but able to continue listening. Her anger in the story is often misplaced, and frequently plays the independent-victim. The female narrator is great, even though it's not a duet. Look forward to the next in the series...

loved the humor

I found many of Gen's thoughts to be funny and entertaining. A very cute love story.

if someone physically hurts you once, why would..

you give them the opportunity to do it two, three and four more times? Why are the girls so wimpy? Other than that pretty good storyline but the 20 something women act as of they can't think for themselves and have no idea how to defended.
