About this listen

Who would have thought that a mysterious and powerful man who chose to go by the name Mephisto would be more than meets the eye? I did! And yet I still wasn’t prepared for what I discovered about him.

He’s a wildcard. But with so many people wanting me dead, I need all the friends I can get.

My life is quickly becoming a cornucopia of crap, and I don’t need any more enemies or any more trouble. Yet, somehow, I manage to get both when the most powerful vampire in the city hires me for a job.

At first, it seems simple enough. All I have to do is negotiate the acquisition of a weapon that can kill his kind faster than a stake to the heart - without betraying my client or pissing off a vampire, especially the Master of the City.

Of course, being the overachiever that I am, I unintentionally betray my client and piss off the Master of the City.

Now I have a mere 72 hours to fix my mistakes, or the Master will claim my life as payment for my failure. And he’s made it clear there won’t be any renegotiations.

I hate the cliffhanger

I absolutely hate when the story ends where a huge unknown is. I legitimately wish that they would just make the story longer and then continue the series on in another way. I really liked this book up until where it ended. If feels like a cheap continuation to the next book. I wish that went the way but I like the series so much that of course I'm going to continue so maybe they got what they want.

A great continuation!

To be clear, i received this Audio Book free of charge from the Author in exchange for an Honest Review.

I have enjoyed this series from its beginning. It, like McKenzie’s other series, is well planned and executed as a story line. In this installment, We pickup where we left off with the last. Erin is still fighting for both her survival and her happiness in life. She moves closer to accomplishing both, but still has a ways to go. From a cocky Shift Alpha and Vampires with a temper to witches with a death wish and family secrets revealed, this book is chocked full of action, twists, and turns guaranteed to keep you enthralled
Khristine voices each character in a way that helps you not only determine who is speaking, without a name, but in a way that helps the listener to feel the emotion and power behind each word. Between the story and the talented narration, You won’t regret continuing this Raven Cursed journey with the rest of us.

Wow

We finally met her father and I love him. I don't want to give away spoilers, but this is DEFINITELY an AMAZING addition to the series. It started off on a completely different fun adventure for our Erin and the ending was deep and dealt close to home. That is one thing I love about this author, the seemless way the story flows. Now I previously read the first 2 books in the series and put it down for a while because I was in love and wanted to wait till a few more came out. So now I'm re reading and this is the first time reading this book and I finished it in a day and a half I just couldn't put it down!!!

So Good!

So many twists and turns and secrets are revealed in the third installment of the Raven Cursed series. As always, the narrator does an amazing job of bringing the characters to life in a way that makes you feel like part of their story. I love Erin and how strong and spunky she is. She doesn't put up with much, and it is amazing to see her in action. I cannot wait to see what happens next.

the revelations begin and I love it

I absolutely love this installment. We are finally getting to know some of the truth to some of these very mysterious and alluring characters. This author knows how to pull emotions from her readers (sympathy, lust, hate, a need for vengeance, confusion, compassion, it just keeps going). Her characters are so appealing. I want to be Erin's BFF. The narration is very enjoyable. The narrator captures all the vulnerability, the sass, the sarcasm, and the sexiness of the characters. The story has it all. Fun, action, friendship, and lots of beautiful males to drool for.

Action packed!

I thought I was team Mephisto but I don't know anymore. The story is so well written and I am dying for another book! The narrator, Khristine Vham, does a great job with each character's voice. Keep them coming!

4.5 Stars 🌟

The summary on this book is pretty misleading. Yes. Erin does have to deal with Landon (the head of the Vampires in her city) but without going into spoilers....this is not anything that is of importance in this story.

What is of importance is that things are getting CRAZY.

Erin...and Mephisto...and Asher... along with Cody, and Madison...are all trying to deal with the craziness that has been unleashed when we discover that Erin's unbelievably AWFUL and EVIL mother has been released.

So....things are bad. REALLY, REALLY bad. The Huntsman have been revealed. The reasons for their banishing from the Veil are finally being told. There are all kinds of information that is now being unleashed. Will that change anything? That is something that the reader is going to have to decide.

This book is full of action. Drama, yes. Information...yes...even though there is not as much as we would like to know.

Things are moving at full speed. Erin is trying so valiantly to keep up with everything being thrown at her. But....she does not still have all of the information.

Will that make a difference? Oh my gosh. Of course it will.

Yes! Better and better

This series gets better with each book. I love to see character growth in a series, and our characters are definitely growing and showing more of themselves in each book. I like this series and finished the 4th book last night and am eagerly waiting for the next one. Keep going, it's a good series.
