About this listen

Virtual Dive technology is coming out of the workplace and into homes. Nigmus Online is the first MMO to use this new device. The only caveat to the game: There is no manual. The only instruction the player gets is how to interact with the user interface. That's it. Nobody is going to hold their hand or give out rare items.

Players begin life as a level-zero commoner. It's entirely up to them what class they become.

Explore a world that spans five continents.

Liam is tricked into trying an expensive and innovative online MMO. On his first trip into the game, he stumbles upon a hidden class: the Undead Necromancer. Intrigued by this turn in events, he continues to explore this mysterious world.

In another part of the country, Kathrine (Kat) suffers from a debilitating and paralyzing disease. Taking part in an experimental research could offer her a new lease on life (of a sort).

Even further afield, Russia and China are undergoing a massive spike in suicide rate. What could be causing so many young adults to dire ends?

This performance was really wonderful. It blew me away, with different voices, sounds, ambience music and solid projection of emotion combining into a very engaging rendition. The story was very good as well, part of gamelit, so maybe not broadly appealing, but for that genre it was top notch. I found myself disappointed as it got close to ending, because I didn’t want it to end, and I immediately went looking for a sequel.

Well done by the cast and crew, I’ll look for more of your work.

So the story is about death and the love between the undead. The main characters are written and developed into a interesting direction and if you read another review saying it is like Overlord (anime/manga/light novel) that is some what misleading. This story only similarity with that one is the male main characters are undead spellcaster and thats basically all there is to it. Any other similarities are abandon very early on in Overlord. I do wish for a sequel for this book, but if there isn't it was good stand alone book. There is a issue I had with the audio part of this book which is there isn't a consistent rhythm. The narrator will be reading and suddenly there is a small section that sounds off, like they used backup equipment that uses as a last resort because it quality isn't as good as there normal gear. It was jarring to hear the sudden drop and I immediately was thinking my new headset was already damaged, but suddenly everything was good again. Overall if you are looking for a book set in a video game world with the main characters fall for this world this would be a good story for you.

Sequel Please

The best LIT RPG I have ever read and I have read dozens. Great immersive story and the vocal cast really brings the character variety alive.

Fabulous Lit RPG

First off the voice actors were bloody phenomenal. besides for 2 nameless characters all of the voice is in this story were top-notch.

over all story is good. there are a crap ton of Lit-Rpg story's and I'd say this one while not the best is definitely well above average and well worth your time. if you like fun characters solid action and clever tricks your enjoy this.

Oddly endearing.... considering all the undead

My only complaint is that to make the dramatization interesting and the voices monstrous, sometimes it is impossible to understand what they said
