This book was very unhelpful

This book offered no real life scenarios in which to apply this knowledge. It is written through a hetero normative filter, that I do not appreciate. I was unable to return this book, and for that, I am very disappointed.

Not Helpful at All

Each chapter is about a different couple's relationship problem. Frustratingly, the root of the problem is ALWAYS found in their childhood. It's very black and white about specific problems/fights, I was hoping for a more general approach about how to stop a fight in its tracks or how to get along better, not just blaming fights on childhood experiences and magically solving them by talking about it.
