About this listen

Monty was dead until he wasn't.

His body was no longer his own, having been shoved into a dying priest in the heart of a totally different world of magic and death. The priest had been protecting a caravan—a duty Monty now inherited—and he was faced with bandits and worse, all while keeping up the façade of his stolen identity. Luckily, the priest had been capable of miraculous [Light] magic, and now so was Monty. He could heal . . . and he could kill.

And he would, without hesitation.

He'd rather not die again.

Is this be the unnecessary prequel to a great story?

The narrator, as far as it goes did a good job.
The story falls a little flat. There’s no real relationships built between the main character and everyone else in the story. No real major events happened. The last couple of chapters finally give you the feeling that this story actually might be going somewhere and then all of a sudden it ends on a weird to be continued vibe. Honestly, you probably could wait for the next book to come out and not miss anything important to the story by skipping this one.

Great Issekai

The narration is phenomenal. the story is good. the magic system is not overly complex and still engaging. the world building is good.

avoid it's a scam and not complete

it's a great story books are amazing but author never intended to finish series. I don't get these people they start something they don't intend to finish intentionally. I would avoid this author like the plaque

pretty good

this book feels like what happens when a Dm gives someone a hard time for not having a backstory for their character and this is made to spite them.

There is no reason for the MC to be there

You could replace the MC with some potato and get the same affect. There is no reason why the MC got reincarnated beside “good” person. He’s old and that’s his personality. -_-
