Publisher's summary

Charlie Evans leads an ordinary life. Boring in fact, by many people's standards. So, when she unexpectedly finds herself tutoring a student on set at Pinewood Studios, the last thing she imagines is that the lead actress is none other than global superstar, Robyn White.

The same Robyn White her three closest friends have lusted after since they first met back at university a decade-and-a-half ago. Robyn White might be renowned for her enormous smile on the red carpet and her happy-go-lucky attitude; however, it’s all a well-constructed front. Behind the façade is a woman who struggles to fit in, not least because she has a secret, one which on-set tutor Charlie Evans threatens to expose. With tensions rising all around them, will Charlie and Robyn's attraction reach blockbuster heights or be discarded on the cutting room floor?

Decent book

Ok so it took me a long time to get onto this book. I started another book and put this one down. Just was slow. But in the end as a lesbian I love a good lesbian love story so it was worth it.

let's get to it

Sara Vonn absolutely nailed this performance. English accent: check. American accent: check! Absolutely wonderful. A standing ovation to her performance.

K.E. Morrison; I don't like celebrity romances but they seem to work and people swoon over them. so eh, I wanted something different. And, I loved this story. I loved the sister and friends. The supporting cast are all solid. This was my intro book to this author and narrator. I'll definitely listen to Sara Vonn again regardless of author (as long as it's Sapphic- I have my limits, Sara). And I'd also read another Morrison book.

Bone to pick with Author: I NEED TO KNOW ABOUT DAVID! That's all I'll say without spoilers and I'm sure she knows for sure what I'm talking about. I can't be the only one who was waiting for ven.... anyway. no spoilers go read the book.

Finding Your Place

Charlie Evans is a dedicated teacher who is sent to tutor her student while she plays a part in a movie. A movie that involves Robyn White, the international star that her three best friends have listed after since college. Will two very different women become friends and more while they rise to touch the stars? Great story and narration.

I liked the book

But i have listened to better ones. The story started with a promise of a great book but it went slow and narration was not very exciting.
