Fun book perfect for our generation. While testing out a game, they get stuck and don't know what will happen if they die. It keeps you on your toes, and was very action packed, but still had underlying questions that made you stop and think. The book is a mix of reality and fantasy, with both dark elves and ex boyfriends alike. I liked the main character, Li, and some of the other smaller role characters throughout the book. *I was given this book in exchange for a honest review.

** I received a free copy of this book for review purposes my review is voluntary and unbiased

Aside from a few places where suspension of disbelief was stretched a bit thin, like not having secondary and tertiary safety exits and a remote shutdown options and a debug menu, this book was mostly excellent. The story was quick, mostly light and fun with a few deeper character moments. The main characters were fairly well developed and even in this short story the characters had a growth arc, in Simon's case it seemed a bit forced he just showed up and was a completely different dude.

The narrator was very good, had a good pace and a pleasant voice

Very good
