So Comforting

I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

I was diagnosed with PCOS after the birth of my first child and my body decided that it no longer wanted to work right. I was told constantly by my doctors not to worry about PCOS and that it doesn’t effect women much. After doing my own research I quickly found out they were wrong. I went in search of my own OBGYN and he has helped me a lot with working to deal with PCOS in regards to getting pregnant.
I found many other symptoms of PCOS along the way. After listening to the this book a lot more of my symptoms started to make sense.
I’m so grateful that when I started struggling with this disease I had my family and many female friends for support as they had or are going through the same issues.
For me I will have to change my lifestyle to attain a healthy weight and life. I already have too many family history medical issues I don’t need to add to that.
This book was super insightful and really helped me understand the depth of one of my diseases. I’m excited to use the recipes but I personally will have to make some adjustments to them as my IBS makes me allergic to eggs.
If you are struggling with PCOS and looking for answers this a good way to start your journey. I say start of your journey because even though you may get many answers and directions from this book dealing with PCOS is a life long balancing act. Once your are in a groove it does get easier. But instead of thinking of all the ways this limits your eating and lifestyle find ways to work around it.
If there’s one thing I learned from having IBS it’s that the limit is only what you make it. Do research and finds things that make it easier. And always make time for you.
