How to manage your mindset to be more successful

This book is a great book not just for athletes but also for everyone trying to accomplish great things. I learned a lot from this book. I used to have fears and anxiety about my future, but now I will try to visualize my success and focus on it. It also shares tips on how to be a great leader in your team in whatever situation you are in. It’s good guidance for everyone.

Nicely done!

I liked the narrator. The information in here was motivating. It wasn’t ground breaking but we all need to hear it, over, and over, and over again. I listen to these all the time. Continually remind yourself, train the brain. I didn’t like the snippet about emotional intelligence, that has nothing scientific about it. But the rest was spot on. I’d recommend this.

Excellent listen!

I loved how this book talked so much about how your mental state has such a huge effect on your performance. When I was an athlete, I placed so much emphasis on my physical skills instead of getting my mind and thoughts in the right place. This book would have been so helpful to me during that time. However, although this book is for athletes there were so many great parallels to how a healthy mindset can also help you to thrive in business. I would definitely recommend to anyone seeking to level up in sports or in life in general.

Very powerful

An empowering, motivating and inspirational book. I think adapting the mindset skills taught in this book will not only be beneficial for people looking for success in sports, but for everyone looking to succeed in whatever it is, business, a job, social life etc.
I feel inspired, Higly reccomend it!

Narration is also of top quality, clear words and read with an inspiring enthusiasm.

I loved this book. You get motivated even if you are not an athlete. If you need more confidence and are looking to find ways to see things differently, this book is for you. Good narrator, well written. I recommend this book!!

Great book!

This book is great for those needing a boost of motivation and confidence, especially before a big game. I truly believe that when it comes to sports it’s not just physical, it’s also mental. If you’re not in the right mindset, it can definitely impact the way you play. This book does a great job by providing guidance and tips to make sure you’re in the right mindset and how to set goals for success. Great book about the power of your mindset!

Great book about the power of your mindset!
Athletes must obviously be physically fit, but this book outlines all the reasons why being emotionally fit is equally as important. Having a positive mindset, persistently pushing yourself to your limit, and having the confidence to keep learning will allow you to accomplish more and be more successful. Using ‘mistakes’ or ‘perceived failures’ as a tool of self-improvement is an important lesson to learn, especially as an athlete.
This book explains how work ethic, confidence, positive attitude, motivation to improve, refusing to lose, and passion are the keys to becoming successful. The author talks about why athletes such as Kobe Bryant and Michael Jordan are so much better than the rest. They have the mental attitude to become their absolute best, no excuses.
Excellent book for anyone who wants to learn HOW to be their best at whatever they do, whether as an individual athlete or how to be a valued part of a team.

Invaluable! Will be listening to on repeat

After listening to just the first 30 minutes it made me get my butt off the couch and go for a run. I'm a cross country runner but have been lacking in motivation and mental power for a while now and this audiobook is exactly what my mind and soul needed. The mental tips, tricks, and hacks provided in this audiobook are truly invaluable. I've already started a new routine and made new goals after listening. Plus the narrator played a huge role in my new-found motivation!

So happy with the purchase and I can't wait to tell my friends and family about it! Now, on my way out the door for my 10 mile run!

Great book for any athlete

I love that this book talks a lot about focus and mindset. There are several techniques covered, but my favorite has always been visualization. Techniques taught in this book are proven, and they work. The author cites real-life examples from notable sports figures and how they use these same techniques to get work done! The book information is laid out in an easy-to-digest manner, and the narration is engaging and keeps you listening. If you want to up your game, this book is worth a listen.

Great book to overcome challenges at work

While I'm not an athlete, I found the teachings in this book have really helped me improve my performance at work.
