Great stories, could use a good editor

I really enjoy this series, great overall story arc. But some editing is in order. I only need to hear the same whiny speeches about "filthy magic" so often. Or to hear Ingrid threaten Viggo with a black eye... And someone can only look "so innocent they've never so much as broken a plate" so many times before it starts to grind.

Mix it up a bit more. Less repetition. Let the characters grow and mature beyond the same tired dialogue. Please!

Not as good as the others

This book isn’t as good as some of the other ones in this series. It’s lacking in magic. I really disliked that it follows Egal so much.

Always Bringing Me Back

Not one to normally do reviews, but this Narrator is honestly one of the bests I've ever listened to. That with the well paced story telling has made this one of my favorite series in recent years!

Expanding The World Building

I was glad to see that the world is more than just frozen ice or tropical beaches. It took then some time but they finally started to show us more of the world. Hopefully this keeps up as I would love to see then using their skills in more places with exotic cultures. Best of all, they showcased my two favorite characters quite a great deal. That was a surprise since the two have barely been mentioned since graduation. Hope this keeps up!
