Thoroughly enjoyed this fantastic story!

I'll be honest in saying Conner Crais could be reading me the IRS tax code and I'd be dreamy eyed and swooning. Seriously though, he and Amelia Hugh were fantastic in the duet narration of Cian and Scarlett In Rags to Royals. Erin Nicolle created a fun, heartwarming modern twist on life as a Royal and an enjoyable ride for Scarlett and Mariah as they navigated their new life.

Scarlett so deserved the "royal treatment" that Cian gave her. That man is pure book boyfriend gold and I love how they both stayed true to the other for almost 2 years after their hot and heavy weekend (and neither of them knew it). They had such a profound impact on each other that they didn't move on. The fact that man looked for her for 19 months proved he was in it to win it and my heart was so happy when they found their way back to each other.

This was my first listen by Erin Nicole but will not be the last. I need to go back and read/listen to books one and two so I can be all caught up. Overall a fantastic listen that I highly recommend.

I'd be remiss if I didn't mention that I loved Ruby and Henry as well and how dreamy Henry's British accent was. I'm hoping to get more from them. *hint hint*

Enjoyed the duet-style narration!

Royal romance? Yes, please. Rags to Royal by Erin Nicolle was a sweet and spicy second-chance romance that had me longing for a hot dirty-talking prince of my very own. I enjoyed everything about Scarlett and Cian’s long-awaited journey to HEA. This is book three in Nicolle’s Royals Gone Rogue series but can be read as a stand-alone.

Amelia Hugh and Connor Crais perform this audiobook in duet-style narration. This was the first time I’d heard these two paired together. Amelia’s soft, melodic voice captured Scarlett’s vulnerabilities, hesitancies, and desires as she gave into her true feelings for Cian after nineteen months of absence and longing. Connor brought his signature charm to convey Cian’s persistently swoony golden retriever tendencies that made this prince irresistible. Both narrators created the perfect amount of steamy tension between them, making their chemistry undeniable.

Overall, I enjoyed this book. If you are a fan of a royal romance with a hot hunky undercover prince, a hard-working single mom mechanic, small-towns, second chances, a devoted teenage daughter, silver charm elephant bracelets, substitute teachers, back patio steam, close proximity, weekend getaways, new start-up foundations, family health scares, love declarations, more steamy times, and a HEA that will royally bewitch you in the best ways, then you will love Scarlett and Cian’s story. I am looking forward to more from Erin Nicolle.

Enjoyable

Scarlet and Cian

I listened to the audio. The narrators did an excellent job telling the story and giving the characters a voice.

This is my favorite one so far. This series so far are these hot AF princes who find the loves of their lives while visiting the states. In this one you have Cian the youngest of the boys had spent a couple days with a women who then just disappeared. Almost two years later and no luck finding her finds out that he is to marry Astrid his grandfather's friend's granddaughter and it turns out His bodyguard/friend found his women. Scarlet is a single mom who for one weekend pretended to be her twin sister and throw caution to the wind. She never ment to fall for the guy but as the weekend ends she left and went back to her hometown with her sister and daughter. I enjoyed listening to this I think it was a wonderful story and the dirty talking prince swoon. Can't wait for her twin's story and the other Prince who came back.

A modern take on Cinderella

Scarlet and Cian meet and have a wonderful weekend when she pretends to be her twin sister. She leaves and doesn't tell him her last name or where she lives. Cian is a prince and has been told he has to marry someone that he's not in love with. His bodyguard searches and finds Scarlet and her twin. Cian makes a deal with Scarlet test at the end of nineteen days if she's not in love with him that he'll leave. He also has to keep his identity a secret which causes other problems. I liked this audiobook and the narration. I'm looking forward to the next book.

Oh Those Royal Boys

Rags To Royals is a small town second chance romance. Scarlet & Cian we easy to love, the rest of the characters were likeable. This book is one hell of a ride, a steamy ride.

I laughed, I misted up, and yeah I got a tiny bit turned on. Erin Nicolle (Erin Nicholas) is a great write. I love all the books I have listened to by her, you can't go wrong with one of her books. I liked when Henry and Cian hid in a closet. I like the relationship between Cian and Mariah, it's such an aww moment when Cian said he loves Mariah (Scarlet's daughter).

I really enjoyed the duet of Amelia Hugh & Connor Crais. This duet is one of the many reasons I like this audiobook. Amelia Hugh & Connor Crais did a wonderful job voicing this world and all it's characters.

The narration by Connor Crais and Amelia Hugh is chef’s kiss – they bring the story and characters to life in a way that makes you feel like you're right there with them. Cian, especially, comes to life in Connor Crais’ performance, making you fall even more in love with this sweet, impulsive prince.

Overall, Rags to Royals is a perfect blend of romance, humor, and heart. It's a great pick if you’re looking for a fun, spicy read that still delivers on the emotional depth. You’ll laugh, you’ll swoon, and you might just shed a tear or two. Definitely recommend!

Witty, fun and entertaining

I’m loving the Royals Gone Rogue Series and Cain O’Grady and Scarlett’s story in Rags to Royals is a wonderful addition to the series.
Connor Crais and Amelia Hugh’s did a great job bringing the characters and their story to life. Hey we’re spot on with the humour and the emotion and very easy to listen to.
Cain can’t believe his grandfather is demanding he marries with a month so he decides to tack down the woman he met and fell for two years ago. He needs to travel to Ohio to reconnect with single mum Scarlett and that’s when the fun and games begin…..
This is a well written, fast paced story that has the perfect mix of love, humour and emotion. It has wonderful characters and the writing will draw you on from the first page to the last line. I highly recommend this great read to all romance lovers.

Oh I absolutely LOVED this book! I have loved this series so far and this book definitely did not disappoint! Did I love it even more because Scarlett is in Ohio and I live in Ohio? And have I always loved the stories with Princes who fall for the small town girl? Yes. Yes to both. 😅 This story is incredibly endearing. Prince Cian is one dirty talking MMC and with him, Scarlett is able to let go and be the self she never thought she could be. And let me tell you, listening to Connor Crais and new to me Amelia Hughes narrate this story?! Absolute. PERFECTION. They were incredible! Oh my goodness. 😍

Cian and Scarlett had one hot weekend together nineteen months ago. One weekend where Cian started falling for her, only to wake up on the final morning with Scarlett gone and no way to contact her. Cian missed Scarlett for those nineteen months, searching for her everywhere. Now because his grandfather, the King of Cara, he’s told he must marry Astrid and produce a child. His bodyguard and best friend Henry found Scarlett. Cian now has nineteen days to get to know her, the real her. After that, he either marries the woman his grandfather wants him to marry, or, Scarlett will finally become his. Matrimony and all.

Scarlett lied to Cian all those months ago. She pretended to be her sister Ruby at the club because of their living situation. So even though she didn’t lie about her name, she ‘became her sister’ with all the things they did together for that weekend. She’s really not the outgoing, siren that Cian thinks she is, therefore, he’s in love with her sister, not her. The more time he spends with her, the more it solidifies that she showed her true self to him. Cian took an idea that Scarlett told him, and made it become a reality. Scarlett gave him purpose, and he wants to give backs in a way that he hasn’t before. He was looking for something that gave him that ‘spark.’ Scarlett gave that to him. In return, he gave Scarlett an avenue to actually achieve her big dreams that she never thought would be a reality. He supports her and encourages her, wants her to realize her potential and that she’s allowed to be happy and do something for herself.

Anyone who knows me or has been following my reviews knows my love for Connor Crais’ work. He’s such a versatile narrator, but there are certain characters he performs that fit his style. This is one of those characters that matched him so well; the completely in love, protective prince, with a bit of a naughty side. 😅 And pairing him with Amelia Hughes was a fantastic choice because they were amazing together! Hughes was such a great Scarlett, truly captivating. I will definitely be looking for more of her work! I didn’t want the story to end, I LOVED listening to this audiobook!

There is so much to this story but I don’t want to give it away! It is fun, endearing, spicy, has some revelations and growth, and is just downright sweet! A huge thank you to Erin Nicolle and HomeCookedBooks for the ALC so that I could listen and review this title. It was such a treat to be able to continue this series. I am looking forward to the next book! Ohhh Henry and Ruby! Ahh! It’s going to be a good one!

Favorite Listen this Year!!!

I'M IN LOVE!!!! This book was pure perfection to me!! Erin Nicolle and Erin Nicholas have me officially OBSESSED with this series. This was the first book I listened to and now I have to listen to them all!!

I had the best time listening to this book. I listened to this in audio and let me tell you the narrators, Connor Crais and Amelia Hugh were perfect for this duet audiobook. These two held my attention and kept me entertained throughout the entire book. I had such a good time listening to their voices.

Cian (Oh Cian is book boyfriend material here!!) is just the sweetest man ever. Yes he may be a Prince but he is all about helping people and being there for the ones he loves.

Scarlet is a single mom to a teenage daughter named Mariah. Mariah is seriously the sweetest most caring teenager ever!! I fell in love with her character. Scarlet is also sweet but she's a little more reserved because she has been let down in the past. She has some obstacles to over come.

Scarlet and Cian had a hot fantasy filled weekend nineteen months ago and neither one can stop thinking about one another. Cian's bodyguard has finally tracked Scarlet down and life is about to change for the both of them.

This book had me laughing, smiling so much my cheeks hurt, Cian had me swooning like crazy, my heart was bursting with joy and love, and I had some moments that had me blushing!! All around this book was just so much fun and enjoyable. The story and characters are well written and enjoyable. I just wanted to be a part of this group. Cian's family are the sweetest people and are so loving! I HIGHLY recommend this audiobook.

Great story and narration

From the first chapter I was invested in the story that Ms. Nicolle wove about Cian O'Grady and the woman he falls for Scarlett.

Blindsided by his grandfather demanding that he marry within a month Cian is desperate to find the woman he fell for two years ago.

Travelling to Ohio with his bodyguard, Henry after learning she has finally been found, he re-connects with single mum Scarlett.

The story was well paced, the characters engaging and there was a good balance of romance, humour and emotions.

I fell hard and fast for Cian, he is my idea of a book boyfriend. This book was a wonderful read and one I thoroughly enjoyed.

The narration by Connor Crais & Angela Hugh was spot on. They brought the fabulous story and characters to life with their performances and I found myself listening well into the night.
