A woman of supposed life experience of previous life’s doesn’t really help build character she’s still weak and acts like it very much demonstrates damsels in distress through the whole book and very slow pace not much ability growth! Not a strong female lead

The story was OK, the world a fantastic, but the main character is basically in her 50s in terms of years lived, 80 in terms of trauma endured but in her fourth life, she is still weak minded, unsure, nervous, timid, and a pushover. I really hope this changes in book 2 I will listen to it gladly, but the amount of times I’ve hit my steering wheel because the main character got frazzled, was countless! the story alone saved the day. Three lives live till her 30s and she can’t handle teenagers??? , even knowing their backstory??? crazy! Still great book though

I picked this one up on a whim but I'm so glad I did. Excellent story telling. Super fast paced and engaging. lots of interpersonal dynamics that are intriguing. I'll be back for the next installment!

A New Favorite!

All the suspense that was built was basically moved on for the next book to fulfill. Although the book was very well written and interesting, it was all plot building filler. In my opinion if the author will make all of this work come to fruition with some real character growth in the next book it will be more than worth the read. In this book the main character was pretty much just fighting for freedom and approval, and while it was interesting, it would have been wonderful to see the character growth that litrpg’s are known for.

I'm only an hour away from finishing this book but lord do I love it. It's odd considering how much I generally prefer more action based novels. This had a different kind of action though. Drama. I'm not one for long detailed reviews. I just have to say I thoroughly enjoyed every moment of the book. Hard to believe I was so reluctant to get it in the first place. I liked the MC a lot, but I have to say Nate was easily my favourite character.

I also have to talk about to the narration which was superb. I've listened to "a lot" of audiobooks and Rebecca here did an amazing job. After this one I will definitely be checking out her other works.

I should be fair and maybe point out some negatives but can't do that. I genuinely have nothing negative to say about the book. It was a wonderful read.

I actually enjoyed this book. I thought it was a bit slow in the beginning. The story ended when things were really getting interesting. The narration was key for me. I felt everything the various characters felt and that elevated the whole storyline. I was hoping book two was ready to go because I am invested .

Good story. Follows the same manhwa tropes, but is detailed enough and seems to be more than one dimensional. The main character and her family are a bit too oblivious though, but I think that’s more a thing for drama than bad writing. The only real critique is that I feel things are expanded upon or repeated over and over a bit too much. (Mostly via inner dialogue)

I’m excited for the next installment of the series and really enjoyed it. I feel like the next book is where it’ll get going and the MC will start to shine.
