About this listen

Innovation is not born from fancy slogans, being artistic, or taking risks all the time. It's born out of people. People who dare to ask questions, try something different, are curious about the difference, and courageously face changes. Everyone is creative. But only a company that fully believes in that, fosters an inclusive, safe environment, and allows diverse voices to exist will be able to unlock his or her company's creative potential.

So where do you start to rethink creativity? Two places: Invest in your team members as a leader and invest in yourself as an innovator. Monica H. Kang, the creativity workplace expert and Founder & CEO of InnovatorsBox®, shares that the commonalities are your mindset and intention. How determined are you to live your best creative life? How much do you really want to unlock your team's best talent potential? The possibilities are limitless if you choose to invest in it.

To reflect on the immense changes in the world since the original publication of Rethink Creativity™, Kang shares more stories, strategies, and thought-provoking questions in this revised second edition that you could use to change your routine and how you lead your team.

So. Many. Distracting. Sounds.

Wow, this audio book has a lot of distracting/annoying sounds. From whooshes and pings to applause and mouse clicks, there are many sounds that took away from the enjoyment of the book. Would have rather read the physical copy instead.

Thoughtful creative journey! Creativity for all!

This was so fun to listen to! Not only is the content-rich, thoughtful, and thought-provoking but also the whole journey. There is original music, guest narrations, and sound effects. It makes you feel like you need to put a new bar for audiobooks after listening to this one. For anyone who loves podcasts, I'd highly recommend this too as the journey is interactive and creative and it makes me want to enjoy and listen to the book even more! 5-stars indeed!

Terribly produced

So many distracting sounds. We don’t need to hear a splash when saying the word “swimming” or a woosh when hearing the word “flying.” It really distracts from the message of the book. I wish they had hired a voice actor to read this. The author emphasizes strange words in a sentence and drops the ends of words. I think the content was solid but I could barely follow it. Read as a physical book. Do not download the audiobook version.
