About this listen

My mate lies in a rotting cage at the bottom of the sea, and I'll do anything to get him back. Maybe he's the devil himself, but he made the ultimate sacrifice for me.

When my plan backfires, I'm left with a lethal hex surging in my veins. Now, I have only a few days to live. And Salem? He's wrestling with a dark curse of his own, one that he says makes him burn.

He keeps saying this ends with one of us dead, that our story is a tragedy. But I'm determined to rewrite the tale fate has penned for us. If I can't, he warns I could die at his hands.

This is the final book in a trilogy.

I loved this series, but I do wish we got more time with the couple bonding, I wanted to feel their love, not just be told it. Overall great adventure. The narration for Salem was.... Not great. The narrator made him sound like my chain smoke Dutch grandma, however it wasn't unlistenable in the slightest.

Freaking Fantastic!

This is a new-to-me author and the entire series was fabulous! There were enough twists and turns to keep me interested without being overwhelming. Add Justine Eyre as the narrator and that was the icing on this very delicious cake!

And Sallem is no longer a mystery. It was almost impossible for Enor to figure him out because there was but so much her could say. I'm glad that she had Ocean and even Leir to look out for her because . . . Dude! Beyrah is REALLY Bat-shit. And apparently was bat-shit before she was forced into solitude. Like honestly wtf. Either way I did like the conclusion to this and would love to see a story centered around Leir and Sallem's sister now.

As I have always found with this author, this was an amazing read (or listen in this case). I really enjoyed where the story went with this third and final book of the series. Salem as a character really grew on me & I even loved how Lyr came into the book as well. Aenor continues to be a great character & really loved her relationship with Gina. I mean, I also love all of her interaction with her man too, but her relationship with Gina is something special.

Another wonderful series to check out.

loved the ending

I listened to the entire series in 4 days. I love paranormal fantasy. It's a little less smut than I usually go for bug the entire thing is captivating and worth listening to. Justine Eyre did a great job narrating and made it even more enjoyable.

Best of the Trilogy 💕

This last book was my favorite of the series. It had the action, good suspense, romance and all the fantasy qualities we love!
The series would have benefitted by a dual narration though. The female narration was just okay.

LOVE this series

I found this by doing a google search of similar authors to the ones I like. I was so pleasantly surprised by this series! It is exactly what I like, yet unique to itself!

Amazing Book

I love the narrator first of all but this story is very interesting. The trilogy has a few unexpected twists and turns and is well wrote. Now one of my favorites.

Over all. Almost great

I love the way the story shifted direction after book one. Book 2 give you a good Clift hanger. And book three is a bit of a time limited adventure… the ending is also pretty good. Over all I’m happy.
