About this listen

Scrapbooking is magic, and so am I. Or at least I would be, if I could take a freaking nap already.

What kind of dream witch can't even make herself fall asleep? A tired witch. A middle-aged, raising-her-teenage-son-alone witch.

I'm supposed to keep the magic world a secret. I'm supposed to dream the future. But supposed-tos are for suckers. At 41, I'm done with doubt. And I'm not about to let anyone else tell me what I can or can't do.

My life is a scrapbook, a collection of adventures, each one leading to the next until every page is full. I'm learning, adapting, growing. Armed with my sleepy sloth tea and my golden spork, and with my coven by my side, I'll take on every challenge that comes my way.

Nightmares better watch their backs, because I'll be sporking them.

I'm starting to sense a theme here & it's not a bad thing either! Keep them coming!!

Good sequel!

Keira Blackwood has crafted a great addition in the series. The characters are growing with each installment. Traci Odom, as always, breathed life into the storyline giving each character their own distinct voice. I highly recommend this book/audiobook to cozy paranormal fiction fans.

Great addition to the series

Enjoying this sci-fi series about witches and other paranormals in a small town. Very enjoyable and a good storyline. Do recommend listening to this series in order since one book and characters lead into the next book in the series. In this book, our heroine has a magical gift of foreseeing the future of others in her dreams. But sometimes she has bad dreams and now her magic sometimes makes her nightmares come to life. She must learn how to control her magic before it consumes her and those she holds very dear to her. Good storyline and great narration.

Queen of the Dream World

The whole developing storyline around "Bahku" was too much. The infatuation made the main character sound desperate and selfish.

Convoluted!!!

This started out good but seems to drag on. And the over use of “Gerkin” because cringeworthy. All in all it runs the line of a witchy fantasy with a touch of romance.

Started out good but the middle was just off.

The storyline was convoluted and ridiculous. I realize that this is fantasy but the reactions of major and minor characters were unbelievable and the actions of the supernatural were uninspired. There was no sense of urgency when there really should have been, Molly's unwillingness to share information was beyond irritating, the 'gas leak' situation apparently went away before the problem was actually taken care of and people were wondering around doing normal things, eating in diners, etc, even when all the chaos was still going on. To top it all off, the main character was nauseatingly chipper and easily distracted and the romance between her and her man came out of nowhere and felt very shallow. I will say the Spork was very funny.

Annoying Storyline
