✨This book, these characters……this author…she utterly broke me, tore me to absolute shreds, all while filling my heart with more love than I thought possible this week 💔 The way I sobbed, it was not a pretty sight.

I am going to need some time to process this one fully, time to let that ending mend my heart, and definitely time to re-read this amazingly beautiful, and devastating story all over again.

✨Liv Zander did not hold back in Shadows So Cruel, book two, in her Court of Ravens duology. I absolutely loved it 🖤 This books is still full of plot, the dark elements we have come to know in this world, spice, tension, and all with so much added swoon.

If we have chatted in the last couple of months, then you know that I have been raving about book one in this series, Feathers So Vicious! I can not recommend both of these stories enough! Bravo, bravo, bravo.👏 I was so unsure with the first book, the heroines name drove me nuts and it took me a bit to get over it but gosh darnet. Here I am at the end of book two and balling my eyes out. These two books blew by and I couldn't get enough. I need more, so much more. I will forever be a fan if Liv's books.

good story and delightful spiciness. however, the author likes to say things like "my pulse pounded in my aorta" which makes me cringe every time. your aorta is in your torso, not your neck. I also can't stand when anyone is running their tounge along her gums. wtf why. who does that?

Liv Zander's story is sexy, dark, and oh so interesting. The only time I found my mind to leave the scenes was when the narrators voices changed, to represent different characters. I could have followed along better if it was one narrators voice for all the characters but in the end, I cried and relished from the enticing storyline!

It was a great story. But at some point I think I could have done with less cocks in the same nests. I understand why Savier was important to the story, but it also kind of took away, at times his interventions ruined the plot. The two main characters could have developed much more intensely if he was taken away from the story much sooner. Malik was basically and asshole, but he had very good reasons for his hatred. Galantia was portrayed as too clueless but also too smart? Week and then mega powerful? I definitely have mixed emotions about her. The ending could have been better. I seemed to revolved all about certain characters dead, instead of the two main characters and their future further in time. Overall a good book, quite spicy, could be controversial for some. It was fun.

This was an incredible story and I really got invested in the characters. I was shocked by how good this was! The narration style was distracting for me, even though the actors were talented! It was tough to hear each narrator read the each other’s voices instead of reading their own. I pushed through and got used to this more in Book 2, a testament to how great the story was! Also, I didn’t feel that Sabian’s voice matched his character description since there was a slight southern accent, even though the actor did a great job with his sarcastic personality.
