Publisher's summary

Yes, you can love keeping—even cleaning—your home.

Let’s be real. Homemaking is harder than we thought it’d be. Others make it look easy, but we end the day exhausted with so much left to do. We feel unprepared.

This book will shift your perspective on homemaking and guide you through six steps to competently and cheerfully manage your home.

Our homes matter because people matter, and homes are where people are built. Being overwhelmed and paralyzed by perfectionism is optional. We can do better.

If you are a Christian woman who wants to honor God in the way you keep house, this book is for you, no matter how much clutter or chaos currently surrounds you.

Fantastic!

I highly recommend this book for any woman who feels overwhelmed, burned out, or inadequate. Far from just another book that gives you just another schedule, routine, program, or whatever to get your act together, Mystie really gets to the root of the problem and gives easy, actionable steps for lasting change. Having finished this audio book, I now plan to purchase the physical book so I can highlight and refer back to it often. I also plan to purchase copies for my mom and friend.

Profound and Practical

I will be rereading this book to help continue to shape my view on my role in the home, and how to fulfill my role with excellence into Christ.

Life changing. Needs a new title!

I listened to this book 2x in one week and soaked up every word. It is a game changer for the overwhelmed, prone to grumbling mom. I strongly suggest a new title- the subtitle is a better fit. Has little to do with organizing IMO. It’s a major perspective/attitude shift and so full of wisdom. Written to the mothers with children at home but can be applied to so much more. I would compare this book in scope to “Parenting” by Paul David Tripp. Has good practical tips but is largely an overarching reorientation to being a godly wife, mother, keeper of home. I related profoundly to the authors “before” and was so encouraged by the hope she offers. And guess what- wildly easy to implement. 8yrs into mothering and just in the last week have made simple changes that have affected our whole lives in a very positive way!! Wish I would have had this book many years ago.

Such a nice sermon

After listening to most of this. I now do not have to go to church for a while to hear a sermon
