Publisher's summary

If you want to get to heaven, you’ve got to raise a little hell....

Callie Penrose is struggling to find her special purpose in life. Rather than allying with any of the powerful supernatural groups begging to sign her up - the Vatican, the vampires, the shifters, or the armies of both heaven and hell - Callie has been picking fights with all of them.

But when she’s abducted by a host of angels, and a greater demon begins hunting her through the daytime streets of Kansas City, Callie learns that her past has come back to haunt her.

Thanks to her actions in recent months, Solomon’s Temple has been opened, and the estate sale is on a first-come, first-served basis.

To win her birthright, Callie is going to need Cain’s help. Even then, she’s going to have to cut some corners, cross some lines, to take a bite out of an apple....

But they say every Saint was once a Sinner....

If you like KF Breene, Shannon Mayer, CN Crawford, Ilona Andrews, Faith Hunter, or Patricia Briggs, you will love the fifth installment of the Feathers and Fire Series.

No spoilers

Wow this one was a trip. I mean that literally. Silvers dose such a fantastic writing job. A story full of action, suspense, laughs, and so do much more. The characters keep getting better and better. Great world building and complete and yet keeps growing. Can't say enough about the writing, characters and world. Highly recommend. Nicole poole is one of the best narrator's there is. Voice were done perfectly. The story was told with emotion also. Don't hesitate on the audio you won't be sorry. But don't start here go to book one that is a must.

Shayne Silvers delivers again

Great story, just wish they had chosen a different narrator. Nicole Poole sounds nothing like I imagine Callie sounding so I finished reading all of her series on ebook and will be making a return of an audiobook for the second time in fifteen years. I do highly recommend all of Shayne Silvers Templeverse series, it is well written and fun to read.

Compelling storytelling!

From the first line to the shocking conclusion of this book, you are held captive by the narration, performed by Nicole Poole, While listening to this book, I found myself spending more time in my car, just listening. "One more chapter", is what i would utter, all the time. I couldn't put it down. Neither will you. Enjoy.

Not my favorite

This story is not my favorite of the series, but the worst part is the narration. Please bring back Linnea Sage. Much more believable as a character. I’m afraid Nicole Pool ruins this for me. I don’t think I will be listening to any more with her. Other than that I have enjoyed this series very much. Especially the more light hearted humorous parts.

Love this series

Love this story. My only complaint is at the beginning it seems like I missed a book. Callie was talking about things that I had no clue what was going on. It seems like these books intertwine with other books, which is ok but I haven’t read the other temple series. I’m reading the whiskey ginger series but it seems like this book is in between the 3rd WG series, which I haven’t yet read since I like finishing a series before starting another. Also, in this book, they talk more about the “Doors”. In the last book, Roland said that the doors lead to the Vatican. And they didn’t want to take the doors when they were both visiting the Vatican so they can investigate early so they took a portal. But this book says Shepherds went thru the door and never came out. That doesn’t match up? Anyways, maybe we are missing a 4.5 book or something. That will explain Callie meeting the WG in Boston and kissing Nate. I have one more book in the series and I’m hoping it’s not the last! But if it is, I hope it ties up lose ends and the relationship with Nate grows more! And not just “talk” at the beginning of the book that doesn’t go into any details! I want deets!

just as great as always Shane

when I first started this series, I was a little iffy about it. but I'm glad to say that I was wrong about it, and I definitely can't wait to see what happens in book 6. And also I can't wait to see what else Shane has in store for us in the temple verse. the narrator was awesome, she did an incredible job. And I applaud her every time I see her in one of these books. 10 out of 10 all around, this girl is definitely one of my new favorite badass characters.

Freaking Fantastic!!

I don’t know how he comes up with these stories and characters but I love them all!! This is the best out of this series I’ve read so far...the Den of Ed, Cain, the Angels and the super fun Dorian Grey! I just can’t get enough of these books!!
