Andrew Tell
After a deadly battle with the mighty Kaito brothers, the Sky Wolves have finally found peace. However, peace is always short-lived on Eon.
Dark forces gather at the gates of Shadowreach, threatening to tear the city asunder. Adepts of the veil come from all corners of the realm, ready to turn its people to ash.
With shadows surrounding them on all sides, Roy and the others are left with few choices, and with a fight for their life on their hands, the only thing that may spare them is a dragon god's gambit.

This book picks up where the last one ended, so if you are new to the series there is no point starting anywhere but book 1. Hopefully you have already enjoyed the first two books so have a pretty good idea what to expect here. Personally, i decided to get a running start and listen to #1-2 again!
My favorite aspect of the story so far is the struggle of each character to come to terms with power that is clearly too much for them. They are all babies with bazookas and only barely have control of their power, but they have to keep fighting. The cast is diverse and so is the way they respond to the pressure of being in over their heads. It adds a nice amount of depth to books that are mostly one fight after another.
I enjoy Darren Hultberg's writing style. He paints a picture well and his sometimes unexpected word choices keep me engaged and amused. Andrew Tells the story perfectly as always and makes it easy to follow along. Thanks again to both of you!
Still loving this series!
