Tipping Point is brilliantly argued

Tipping Point is brilliantly argued and I would recommend it to anyone who seeks honest, clear explanation about matters that can improve his/her thinking--however. It is shorter than the other 2 books I've listened, and would have made a Pulitzer-level article, but didn't need to be a full book.

Intelligent

A good listen. It confirmed a lot of what I thought and you can see a lot of this occurring in society today

High rating simply because it’s deserving of it

He’s able to draw the listener in by filling them up with little known facts. His writing makes you sit back and think about what he is saying. There are several “aha” moments in this book. I recommend this to anyone who is interested in understanding how trends are started. I gave this book a high rating simply because it’s deserving of it.

A good number of new ideas for small businesses

A good number of new ideas for small businesses and startups. If you are one of those people you know its the equivalent of moving a mountain to succeed but it helps open your eyes a bit at what factors come into play during a tipping point. Which helps you become aware of them and focus on attaining them.

Solid book for all business types I think

All in all a solid book for all business types I think. If your company, product, service or idea would benefit from an epidemic of awareness and attention then it's probably a safe bet you should listen to this. I received a copy of this book and would recommend it.

It's a fascinating study into why things spread

The Tipping Point. It's a fascinating study into why things spread. Just as there is a Tipping Point for diseases, there are also epidemics for--ideas, trends, crime, books, diseases, smoking, drugs, alcohol, suicide, etc. The book delves deep into the phenomena why and how things go viral--moving from one person to the next and from one street corner to the next, from one city to the next, and from one country to the next. Epidemics are the Universe invisible salesforce--it carries and distributes everything without care or concern--leaving participants unaware what happened.

Gladwell is able to reduce a complex psychological

The Tipping Point provides a wonderful insight into the causes of "viral" marketing and consumer trends. Be forewarned, however, that the book itself is not a marketing text, and really is more of an expose on the psychology of trends. Gladwell is able to reduce a complex psychological and sociological phenomenon into a book that is easy for a normal person to get their head around.

Filled with lot of tidbits from the author

The book is filled with lot of tidbits from the author, or, in the following quotation, other sources: "The figure of 150 seems to represent the maximum number of individuals with whom we can have a genuinely social relationship, the kind of relationship that goes with knowing who they are and how they relate to us."

Gladwell reveals a part of life

Gladwell reveals a part of life that I hadn't figured out until I listen to this book. Several "aha" moments were revealed as I eagerly turned the pages. Hard to put down. Recommended listening and for me?...it helped me to understand life a little better.
