Hayes, Take the Fear out of Franchising gets right to the nub of what's really important about buying, owning, and operating a franchise. Many people who consider buying a franchise never do because they get stuck in the process. That's fear! Sadly, people often get stuck over points of little or no consequence, says Dr. Hayes, and that's because they fall into the trap of investigating franchising as an industry. He says that process forces people to concentrate on the wrong points of information and it is mostly a waste of time. It creates more fear and ultimately immobilizes people. Dr. Hayes introduces listeners to five franchise tenets that explain why franchising works. If you're in need of a book that will give you a clear understanding of franchisors and franchisees and how franchising works than this book great start here and you'll have a clear understanding and you'll go into it knowing exactly what to expect and how to make the best decision.

I liked this book because it really used all of my time so that it was worthwhile. I thought for such a short book it was very educational and gave other sources for me to use to obtain more information on franchises. I would say that anyone who is thinking about buying a franchise that this book would be beneficial for you to learn from.
