Great Book. Encouraging and supportive

The book was well written. The description of different types of alcohol and damaging alcohol is it is particularly impactful and convincing that alcohol i a horrible drug. Applauses to the narrator for a fantastic and comprehensive narration of the book. Great job!!!!

It still affects.

This audiobook and its exercises really helped me stop drinking and have kept me off for over 1 year. The reality of what drinking was doing to my life was the key to stop. It still affects.

WOW !!!

This information is life-changing, we the public have been bamboozled with our obsession with alcohol, the author plainly points out that our decision to drink alcohol is not in our best interest by a long shot, it’s been said a word to the wise is sufficient, I look forward to my journey to be alcohol free. I highly recommend this information to anyone whom alcohol has taken over their lives and
wants to really live. God bless the author!!!

Amazing!

This is a very personal story about the step's the author took to stop drinking. I have drunk heavily in the past and still have the odd binge even if infrequently. This audiobook has made me question the wisdom of having a drink even every month.

I think is a big step.

That's a good thing because it reiterates her point that much of what we feel and think and believe about alcohol consumption is unconscious and almost brainwashed into us. I can recognize that now, which I think is a big step.

I really enjoyed this book.

I really enjoyed this book. I've been listening to the Recovery Elevator podcast for a couple of months. That along with this book are invaluable resources for my recovery journey. Lots of humor injected throughout, as well. Love it!

This book has helped me to better understand addiction and how it changes the brain and cognition of addicts and is the best resource to present to people who do not understand addiction and make the most ignorant comments.
