Publisher's summary

The 5 A.M. Miracle is a resource guide for high-achievers. It is for anyone who has a wild passion for life and is in search of a structured system that will hone those passions, clarify their big goals, and produce real, amazing results.

1. Begin Your Day the Right Way

Yes, it's true, I'm a big fan of early mornings. But, more importantly than waking up at an arbitrary time like 5:00 a.m., I'm a strong believer in intentionality. Choosing to wake up with a written plan is something most people just never do, and it's astonishing how much it can change your life once you embrace this single habit.

2. The 5 AM Blueprint: Seven Steps to Extraordinary Productivity

The bulk of the audiobook breaks down my blueprint for unprecedented progress. From healthy habits and productivity strategies, to review systems and professional-grade daily routines, you will find more actionable content than you could possibly imagine.

3. Built-In 30-Day Action Plan

Let's not forget that at the end of the audiobook, I summarize the multitude of ideas into an easy-to-follow 30-day plan just so you have a clear plan of action.

Difference maker

The author does a great job breaking down each step. I actually have not adopted the 5am portion of the program but the other items I did put into use have changed my life! I just finished listening to it again since my next quarter is about to start and am going to implement even more items. I am looking forward to listening to his new book.

Strategic productivity

I liked the strategies, tips and tricks that Jeff shared. I liked his repetation style, such that even in later chapters somehow he would mention in summary what was covered previously.

Way more than morning routines

I bought this audiobook expecting some motivation to wake up early and start a morning routine, but this book goes beyond that. He also teaches about night routines, goals, productivity, getting organized, scheduling. This is one of the best books on productivity that I've read (and I've read a lot!)

Make another one brother

This book was excellent. Just what I needed for early morning motivation.
I hope he turns this into a series. I want more content on the 5AM miracle. I will definitely tune into the podcast!

Good practical tips

Liked a few of the ideas- quarterly planning, ideal morning and evening. If I could implement Inbox zero, desktop zero, homebase zero and project zero, I would feel like a rockstar!

On my list of essential productivity books.

This book should be included in every list of essential productivity books, at least in my humble opinion. I have read quite a few books on the subject and The 5 A.M. Miracle somehow sums everything up, while retaining quality. There are mentions of other really essential books on the topic such as Essentialism by Greg McKeown, The ONE Thing by Gary Keller and Jay Papasan and, of course, Getting Things Done by David Allen. But Sanders incorporates many key ideas mentioned in all of these books into The 5 A.M. Miracle and adds on to them with his own ideas and experiences which I personally implement (and see the benefits of) and which I firmly believe should be implemented by anyone who wants to get the best out of each day.

But what I found most valuable in the book are his practical, step-by-step tips and guidelines, or rather action plans for actualizing the 5 A.M. Miracle into your own life. This makes the book easy to follow, easy to sum up and review after reading, which is crucial for actually getting yourself to take action. So I would also recommend rereading the book or at least just going through the quick reviews and action plans at the end of each chapter (and at the end of the book).

Excellent productivity ideas

Any additional comments?

This book includes terrific ideas, and you don't have to wake up at 5am to use them! I took notes as I listened, and learned so much that I am implementing the ideas a few at a time because there are so many. Listening to Jeff is very pleasurable. He is enthusiastic and easy to understand. I highly recommend his podcast as well!
