About this listen

There is a major shift happening in western society where people are beginning to question the sociopolitical system and the social norms to which they are accustomed. People, particularly men, are beginning to realize they live in a system that is unfair and unjust while at the same time requiring them to keep the infrastructure of society running. As a result, some men become ostracized and shunned from their friends, family, coworkers, and other associates because of the inconvenient truths they've become aware of and their decision to change their lifestyle.

However, most men have no guide, no direction when it comes to making such a decision. Although this book is called "The Art Of Being Alone", it is really an introduction toward the things men have to accept as well as being alone, to instill the proper mindset so they don't become overwhelmed by the truth and the harsh reality it opens them up to. In this book, Jo The Philosopher doesn't provide a step-by-step guide but a general sense of direction men can leverage and make their own. Knowledge that can be applied to all aspects of life and be used in some way for men to lead higher qualities of existence and to take their life back into their own hands.

Toxic masculinity at its finest

The energy this person projected was that of someone extremely emotionally immature. While there is nothing wrong with taking responsibility for how one’s life unfolds, the underlying message often negates this point. The persistent bitterness he displayed when discussing women suggested that he had been hurt by someone he believed he was entitled to, resulting in a bruised ego. Normally, I forego the reviews, attempting to keep an open mind. I intentionally blew right beyond all the warnings and red signs. I have no one else to blame for the loss of 15 mins.

How dumb this was.

Horrible. Confusion. Bias. One person telling their one story speaking very broadly. Closed minded concept. How did this get published.

An absolute waste of time

This book is absolutely the worst I have ever listened to. It was a waste of my time and this kid who wrote this book is so angry at everyone and everything. Do yourself a favor and pass on this book. It has nothing to do with the title. It’s just an outlet for him to complain about everything.

How to be a douchebag

It's complete garbage. If you are a woman hater and want nothing more to be a loser then by all means listen. Otherwiase, save yourself the time and skip it entirely.

he will always be alone

awful, vulgar and quite dumb... trying to sound smart and knowledgeable about relationships, complex emotions with no understanding of any of those.
Extremely unkind, violently revolting ideas of how to handle issues that are close to heart. Good luck to you man!

This author needs counseling ASAP

DO NOT download! This audio book is a complete waste of energy and time. The author needs psychological therapy because he hates women. I suspect a very rough childhood.
