Publisher's summary

There is a major shift happening in western society where people are beginning to question the sociopolitical system and the social norms to which they are accustomed. People, particularly men, are beginning to realize they live in a system that is unfair and unjust while at the same time requiring them to keep the infrastructure of society running. As a result, some men become ostracized and shunned from their friends, family, coworkers, and other associates because of the inconvenient truths they've become aware of and their decision to change their lifestyle.

However, most men have no guide, no direction when it comes to making such a decision. Although this book is called "The Art Of Being Alone", it is really an introduction toward the things men have to accept as well as being alone, to instill the proper mindset so they don't become overwhelmed by the truth and the harsh reality it opens them up to. In this book, Jo The Philosopher doesn't provide a step-by-step guide but a general sense of direction men can leverage and make their own. Knowledge that can be applied to all aspects of life and be used in some way for men to lead higher qualities of existence and to take their life back into their own hands.

How dumb this was.

Horrible. Confusion. Bias. One person telling their one story speaking very broadly. Closed minded concept. How did this get published.

Geared towards misogynist audience

This book has some radical views for sure. If you consider yourself an “alpha male” or don’t see women as intelligent this will be a powerful read for you.

Interesting topic

This guy works at a fast food restaurant. He wrote a book about why he believes women will drain you financially. His view of society is skewed because he only includes his point of view from a fixed point in his short life.

It’s stupid.

Worst book I’ve read. The other has no idea what he’s talking about. Seems like a fast food worker that just wanted to attack women and rant about his miserable life. This book actually depressed me.

Be careful… not because is a book means a good reading

I could only stomach the first chapter and I couldn’t go any further, this book lacks roots and context. Very potentially damaging for unformed minds… be aware: not because is a book means a good read
