Finally Tackling the Chaos

I never thought I’d be someone who could get my home in order, but this book made it feel manageable. The tips are practical and don’t require you to overhaul your entire life, which I appreciate. I started small, focusing on one area at a time, and before I knew it, my space started to feel lighter and more functional. It’s not just about getting rid of stuff—it’s about creating habits that make staying organized feel natural. Now, I walk into my home and feel relaxed instead of stressed. Highly recommend for anyone feeling overwhelmed by clutter!

Embracing Minimalism and a Different Mindset

I enjoyed the practicality of this book, and listened to it while I cleaned, did dishes and folded laundry. Yay me! Yay, J.D. Austin! I found the narration somewhat clunky and almost robotic at times. But the material was good.

After a few weekends, my living room and kitchen feel so much lighter, and I’m finding it easier to let go of things I don’t need. If clutter stresses you out, this is definitely worth checking out.

Excellent book, amateur narration

I really enjoyed the contents of this book. It was informative, motivating and entertaining. I can recommend the printed book.

However, the narration left a lot to be desired. Using a male narrator for feminine thoughts felt awkward. The male narrator had a nice voice, but there was no editing and error correction. He mispronounced words (for example: "decor" as DEEcor instead of DAYcor,) stopped sentences and started them over, inserted awkward gaps between the words of sentences, repeated whole paragraphs, and even repeated a whole section. He referenced "the chart below" but there was no accompanying PDF. I couldn't tell if he read its contents or moved on to something else.

The author should do her book a favor by having the recording properly edited or done over.
