About this listen

Former Marine Will Hawthorne has revealed himself to the alien world of Taitala as the Makalang, a legendary creature who is expected to reverse the world's decline into senescence and extinction. With his first wives already pregnant, tensions between the city's clans begin stretching to the breaking point as the demand for new children intensifies.

But Will's attempts to mediate the dispute are upended by a campaign of bombings by the shadowy Black Sky group and suspicions that the mysterious nocturnal panikang are behind it.

As Will continues his quest to unravel the enigma of the Makalang's role in the world, he must choose between the needs of one of his closest wives and the needs of his adopted world.

Contains mature themes.

I love this series it deals with a lot more than just sex. The relationships are deeper and the plot is much more complex. I enjoy the characters especially their quirks. The narration is excellent. On to the next audiobook!

Excellent

Excellent! Though his first mate isn’t getting as much attention as before. Which seems inevitable in every Harem adventure.

More substance than the first

Book one was bit slow, narrator was learning, but ok. Gave it a 3 star.
Book 2- current- A great deal better.
Story really develops- looking forward to #3.

this is the second audiobook that I've listened to from this author. I think the narrator did a fantastic job. I like the story and I recommend it to anybody who read this review. as of the time of this review the first four books are available on audio and the first seven are available in e-book form. I don't know if he stops there or if there's more coming but considering the size of the books I would think of it more like volumes as opposed to full novels being released.

I like it

The story was interesting. I liked the delema of trying not to be a bad guy and also caring about your kids. The twists of the story and the threat of war always luming. The performance was great. I can't wait to read the next book.

Great book

Great Story with Well. balanced MC and supporting women ...with an actual plot to the story unlike Alot of Harem series that makes you wanna knows what will happen next ! Michael Dalton is one of the best Harem Authors ...one thing I wish there was a female to narrator to help the amazing male narrator

Amazing Harem Sequel and Series

Darn it! This is a typical harem story with one guy and many women. The romantic scenes are fairly devoid of steam. This is a good book to listen to if you want to go to sleep.

Nor a Reverse Harem Story

at any given scene, rather it be action or more spicy the writer doesn't stay focused and wonders off topic. good characters, good narration, over use on names.

started good keeps losing focus
