The authors have written a great book but the audible version has more arguments and disagreements between the authors which comes out as bickering at many times.

Great book but poor performance

Really enjoyed the off-script talk between the two of you. Very thorough book, I will most likely listen to it again. So much great advice and real-world experience sharing. Thank you!

A+

Set the playback speed to 1.5 for a better listening experience. These guys are nice, but they speak too slow. listen to the difference.

It’s a great book if your knowledge about Clinical Research is close to 0. On the other hand, if you already have experience with Clinical Research the knowledge that you can get from reading this book may not be as much as desired.

Great book for starters, I think the comments between the paragraphs where somewhat helpful

Dan and Chris are two of the most knowledgeable and approachable clinical research executives in the business today. They do an incredible job of pulling back the curtain and allowing the reader inside the often clandestine world of clinical research. For someone looking to get into the industry or someone like myself who is looking to broaden his experience into other areas of the industry, this guide is the best out there. Dan and Chris’ chemistry is entertaining, insightful and incredibly useful to learning difficult topics. They have made a highly regulated industry overview fun! Excellent book and I highly recommend it!

The most realistic and entertaining clinical research guide ever!

Excellent Audio For Clinical Research

I'm new to the world of clinical trials. This book gave me a solid introduction. The banter between the two authors is both useful and enjoyable, making an engaging contrast to Dan's somewhat deadpan reading - to which Chris commented something to the effect that it was amazing how Dan could be reading and txting at the same time...yes...it sounds like that's the case;-). Nonetheless recommended.

Very helpful introduction

So glad I got the audiobook. It’s like Goggins’ audiobook Can’t Hurt Me, cuz it’s half audiobook half podcast. So much extra content it’s ridiculous! Definitely the best clinical research companion since Elizabeth Weeks-Rowe’s CRA Guide to Monitoring. I work with a big CRO and have my hands in all the pies. This book covers damn near everything. Doesn’t hurt that it’s fun to listen to when traveling or commuting.

Best travel companion for any clinical researcher

Very interactive audiobook and fun to listen. In a few hours I filled the gaps I have in basic clinical research, highly recommend it.
