About this listen

Enjoy this action-packed dragon fantasy box set!

Freedom always has a price.

The world of the Creator Goddess has darkened as growing evil threatens the people she so lovingly shaped long ago. In a quest to take her place as ruler of the cosmos, the Spirit King’s forces ravage the kingdoms of Pothena. Only the dragon-riding Rebellion stands between him and victory.

Seventeen-year-old Desiree Black has one goal—to discover the truth about what happened to her illustrious parents. Swept up in the Rebellion against the Spirit King, Dez quickly moves through the dragon rider ranks while seeking to harness the explosive and unpredictable magical power she possesses—and has always feared—in order to protect her loved ones.

But victory against the Spirit King will never be achieved without sacrifice. Especially when deception lurks around every corner.

This epic young adult dragon fantasy includes the three exciting novels in the Dragonspawn Trilogy:
Dragonspawn
Dragon Oracle
Dragon Deep

Queen of the Dragons Ava Richardson invites you to immerse yourself in a dragon-filled world with epic magic, fearless heroes, and, at its heart, the deep bond between dragon and rider.

I've listened to several of this author's dragon rider series, and this one lived up to my expectations. Author does a great job with character and plot development, Narrator also brings the characters to life and the story draws you in. Highly recommend!

another amazing dragonrider saga

I found this trilogy to be enjoyable to listen to as I worked at my computer during the work day.

I love all of this authors stories but the narrator was a hang up for me. This narrator has a way of making the characters sound very whiny. This is just my opinion and the story is still worthwhile whether you agree on the narrator or not. I look forward to many more stories from this author. Enjoy!

Great story

The mentality from fighting bullying to being a victor in mind yet still being the same person came out well. I was so irritated the whole time. But that is probably what made her character at all real was how annoying the main character was.

I would have liked to have seen more depth in the other characters however… this was all from a short sighted mortal with mental health and ptsd and abandonment issues. They heavily affect your views regarding what information you pay attention to or not. It became easier when she started having a more mature outlook that became not just centered on her own joys and pains but that of all who she was affiliated with and then kept expanding from there. Her growth helped me get to the end. I struggle having a character that is so relied on with as many levels of doubts as her for so many reasons. But it did make it more real of a “personal take” perspective.

Real growth from a real mental health affected outlook.

This story has all the drama written from a young adult / teen perspective.

I felt the narrator was a bit too breathy. The whining part might just be the story, but several times I wanted to chuck my phone in disgust. The action scenes were fun.

it's worth a credit for the trilogy.

enjoyable

It’s not bad however it’s lacking for me. I got through most of it but found myself not finishing it because I was uninterested and the MC was a little irritating.

Good but lacking
