Everyday Strategies For Staying Grounded
I’ve tried a few self help books before, but this one stood out for its clarity and structure. The way it broke down CBT techniques made them feel approachable, even when I was feeling overwhelmed. I especially liked the sections on managing anger and reframing anxious thoughts those exercises helped me pause and respond instead of react. It’s not preachy or clinical, just practical and supportive. If you’re looking for something to help you feel more in control day to day, this is worth checking out.

Mental Self Help
This audiobook provides you with an understanding of what CBT is. You are offered a variety of practices you can implement in order to put it into practice. The real life examples offered help me visualize how I can apply them to me. The liked the ideas of journaling experiences that evoke unpleasant emotions in me to then look for a pattern and address my behavior. I was surprise to find out that tracking behavior may also done through different apps. The narrator presenting the information is engaging. I felt supported in listening to this audio.

Simple and Actionable
This is an excellent, concise, and organized manual for familiarizing yourself with CBT's core techniques. It simplifies complicated concepts to actionable steps that are simple to follow whether you are approaching the subject for the first time or are in need of refresher knowledge. Parts are perhaps occasionally overly dense, but they are good and worthwhile. A good source for personal development as well as professional insight.

Helped Me Get Unstuck
I’ve been dealing with anxiety and low moods on and off for years. This book broke things down in a way that actually clicked for me. I started using the exercises when I felt overwhelmed, and it really helped me stop spiraling. It’s not magic, but it gave me tools I can actually use when I need them. I’ve recommended it to a couple of friends already. Felt real, practical, and not overly clinical.
