Publisher's summary

In Ivy Pierce's world, Greek mythology is reality. Sirens, like herself, use men for money, power and status; but she has the greatest gift of all. Stronger than any of the Sirens before her, Ivy's attraction alludes to a prophecy that could mean the rebirth of Greek gods and goddesses for our modern time. The Fates believe she is the symbol of a new era. Her mother believes she is the key to ultimate power in their Greek circle. And Nix, her godfather and god of the sea, believes she belongs to him.

Ivy doesn't want any part of her world or the people that demand so much of her. With the help of Ryder Sutton, her closest friend, she will fight against fate, against the expectations of her society, and against the desires of a monster that will do anything to possess her. And through it all she will deny her feelings for the one person she loves more than anything in order to protect him. While her future crumbles around her, Ivy will go to extreme lengths to free herself from her glass prison - or drown trying.

The Fall

Definitely loved how the author made me feel for each characters, their heartbreak, their sadness, their pain and everything they were experiencing. When I was either reading or listening to this Audible book, I was happy, sad, PISSED OFF, but truly loved it. I like the turn this series has started to go in and I'm interested to see what happens next. Definitely recommend this series and can't wait to start the next book now!!

Good stand alone book.

Very dark world where nothing is what it seems and a lot of messed up adults. There is so much realism I have to question whether magic needed to be in this at all.

I love this book.

I am so glad books are this accessible in audio form! I never have time anymore to sit and read. I love this story and the characters are especially easy to love and relate to.

Better than the first book!!

The first one was slow but worth it. This one was full of romance and action. Still could have been condensed, but it’s nice getting more time for the credit anyways. I can’t wait to listen to the next one!

Exciting revival of Ancient Greek mythology brought forward to contemporary characters.

The telling of the story is very stretched with pre-teen angst. However, the characters are 17. The story feels more young than young adult.
