Entertaining Lovecraft short story.

The Festival, was my second experience listening to an H.P. Lovecraft story. While the dialogue and description are characteristic of the time it was written, I found I have begun to enjoy Lovecraft’s writing and storytelling. I listened to Bryan Godwin narrate this story and after listening the first-time found I wanted to listen a second time because I enjoyed his narration, and I wanted to fully absorb this short story. The action and description in this story kept me fully engaged in the story and set me on a path to listen to or read more of Lovecraft’s stories.
