Much better ending than AOE! Hope the author fixes it with the sequel series. In the mean time, looking forward to the prequel of this series!

Loved it

The rest of the series was so good that this one stood out as the weakest, which was a shame considering it was the finale.

Bit of a letdown

Most books have a little bit of up and downs and one major thing that happens. This book is a roller coaster of ups and downs. It delivers far more than most authors would ever attempt to put in one book. It does a great job capturing everything in the series and wrapping everything up with a nice bow while also setting up the next series. If I could give it six stars I would.

an amazing capstone on the series

Love

I have to admit that I’ve been listening to a lot of books and I feel like none of them are complete. Therefore, I’m always excited when I can call a series complete and even better when it doesn’t get all screwed up at the end.

It can get confusing at times for the MC with his dual personas and I’m still not sure about all the aspects of what went on, but it’s definitely a satisfying conclusion with doors left open to continue the world if he so chooses.

Good end to this series

I hope that the author expands on this world that he’s built it would be a shame to not delve deeper into the lore.

I liked it.

The his entire series is great. This was a good ending for the Mageborn series. It left me wanting more. Give it a read, you won’t be disappointed.

Great Series

Loved the book and series, but I would highly recommend pausing this series after book 4 and reading the Embers of Illineil prequel trilogy. There is a slight (but predictable) spoiler by doing so, but this book is a major spoiler for the entire prequel trilogy. Mostly though, reading the prequel first makes this book (which serves as the ultimate conclusion to both series) so much more satisfying!
