Interesting

I was surprised at the story but enjoyed it.
Ruth Urquhart is a excellent reader bringing it to life!

Great story

I really enjoyed this vampire story, ther was romance and mystery and it definitely held my attention, I almost wish It was a little bit longer, I had all those typical vampire questions going through my head during the reading that didn't all get answered by the characters. This was a lovely story and great as an October book . I would recommend this book . The narrator did very well also.

I’m not a vampire fan

The summary didn’t inform me clearly that this was a camp story or I would have passed.

Interesting story, great performance!

Very few vampire books do I find enjoyable. This one was tastefully done and masterfully preformed. I will not listen to another book by these two authors unless I know it containes no fantasy characters. Wish vampires had been mentioned in the books description!

Worst Vampire in History!

This has to be the worst and weakest vampire in the history of vampires. Easy to sneak up on and constantly gets shot with arrows. And if the words “boiled sausage “ were said one more time I was going to throw something! The narrator did a good job with the female voices, but I didn’t care for her male voices.

Weird tale; not my taste!

I’m happy with the fantasy of a straight up romance tale set in the Regency. In England. Anything beyond that, such as otherworldly characters., Is not to my taste.

Very weak all around

Very disappointed. Hannah Howell can do better than vampire stories. Storyline was weak and characters were weaker.

Not the best book by the author

Unfortunately, couldn't get into this book, Disliked the h, another female protagonist portrayal as a nitwit. H was pretty dismissable too. Narrators accent had a few slides into Irish .
Glad it was included in Audible plus.

Dense, clumsy heroine

The narration is great. Really, if that were the only criteria, it would be a five star read. However, plot is an issue. The heroine is a likeable character because she is kind, but the heroine is also clumsy and stupid. This makes her annoying. The hero isn't the brightest, either, as the last scenes show. I still didn't totally hate the story, but it did kind of feel like the plot was kind of patched together.
