Simplified correlation between modern psychoanalysis and Buddhism

Dr. Jones has found a way to lay out a very achievable method for taking our somewhat modern viewpoints and psychological dilemmas and correlating them to the ancient methods that are part of Buddhist principles and philosophies. I have found all of the. methods that are laid out in the book, extremely helpful, especially in the way that they work in symphony with the Buddhist principles and philosophies that I already practice.. Even more so for the individual who is in any type of recovery. One of the best books amongst the many that I have read that really hits Home. .I am truly grateful. 🙏

Practical advice with practical applications

This is not a religious book. It’s a collection of observations with an outline of practical advice that has many practical applications in todays world. Highly recommend and looking forward to Dr. Jones’ next book!

Mindfulness

The author has a relaxing voice. His book is easy to follow. He adds many exercises in which you practice mindfulness. I loved his stories and his references to some of Buddha’s teachings which are new to me. I was pleasantly surprised and would like to learn more. This is a must read or listen reference for stress and anxiety.
