I enjoyed this book. It offers a lot of practical information and advice regarding caring for a newborn and has several tips for maintaining your relationship with your partner throughout this new phase of life. I feel more knowledgeable and more prepared to welcome my baby home now after completing this book.

This book was wonderful! It’s short but with the important information you need to know! Only one thing is I wish it had a PDF file for us to download with the baby’s schedule she mentioned and the important lists on what ti buy.

Short and straight to the point!

The book is a great introductory flash into parenting and covers some worries ... I'm pregnant with my first so I've had some "how do you keep a newborn alive" worries crossed my mind. I had to speed up the person who talks to 1.25 because the narrator talks in a weird block speed with gaps without doing it.

Great introductory book

This was a concise overview of the essentials and made me feel a little more prepared for our first child. There were answers to a few critical questions like whether or not babies should be given supplemental water. Apparently they shouldn't! Also, I didn't know that baths aren't supposed to be daily. Very practical book!

I found this book to be very easy to listen to and informative. Being in my first pregnancy I was focusing so much on pregnancy books and not enough on newborn 101. This book has given me the basics to feel much more confident for when our little one arrives. I’m grateful I’ll be able to go back to reference different weeks as needed, or do an overall refresh before he arrives.
