Terrible Narration

The book itself was good. If you are new to presenting or have been presenting for a long time, there are little tidbits and reminders of room where we can all grow. BUT... the narrator... she sounded so much like a robot I actually had to look her up. The timing was weird. Her inflections were weird. Usually when I listen to a book by a narrator I don't much care for, I usually get used to it and just forget about it. Something about this narrator made it impossible to forget how annoying her way of speaking was. Just when you thought a sentence was over, it wasn't. I listened to it at 1.5 to 2 times the speed just to get it over with.

Poor narration

The narration of this book sounds like AI. The phrasing and expression is just off. I listened to a different professional book written by Elena Aguilar with a different narrator which I enjoyed very much, but this narration is so odd that it’s hard to grasp the content. I think I’ll have to rely on the print version.

Narrator

I’ve read this book, the physical book, and appreciate the substance of the book; however, the narration is one I’m not too fond of, which is disappointing. The narration is difficult to stay engaged with.

The book is great!!! I’m just not fond of the quality of the narration

Felt like an ad for other books and services

There was nothing particular insightful or groundbreaking here- very common sense stuff, and the constant referring to other books and to the author’s company for services was very off putting. Felt like one really long ad.
