Good tips but narrator goes too fast
These tips were helpful for flight anxiety and I am glad I listened, but the narrator goes WAY too fast. I tried to slow it down but it just sounded robotic and weird so I dealt with her speed.

Helped me
Had a fear of flying for pretty much my entire life. Got this audiobook a few days before a trip I could not miss and I found it incredibly useful. I wouldn't say I was totally fearless but I will say I was a lot better than I used to be and have already booked a few more trips for later in the year.

No longer afraid
I have tried many books and methods but thankful to have found this book (after a recommendation from a support group) as it has reduced my anxiety by about 75% and finally made air travel possible without panic attacks!

Very helpful
I actually downloaded this right before turning my phone on airplane mode and we took off. I have severe panic attacks every time I fly and I had 7 flights coming up in a two-week period. I also downloaded some guided meditation for PTSD, which were helpful, but this one was by far the best for me. I am a cerebral person. Knowledge is power. I like how much of the book is a simple overview of the pathophysiology of fear responses as well as the mechanics of an airplane and what makes all the noises (very simplistic, but anything more would not have been helpful)! As she was explaining what fear is, I was actually intensely feeling the emotions of fear and I could say, "Oh, that's because my body is responding to . . . " It was very, very helpful in the moment. Usually, when I fly I am keenly aware of every little noise, bump, and tilt of the plane, but by the end of my 7th flight, I didn't even know we were landing!

I liked the narrators voice and style, really helped get the point across and the writing was unique with some viewpoints and ideas I had never ever heard before. Very good book actually (sorry if I sound surprised lol)

If you have done previous reading on fear of flying, this book will likely just repeat most things you already know. It is relatively concise. I didn't find it very helpful.
