About this listen

Nicole Cassidy is a witch descended from the Greek gods, but she doesn't know it until she moves to a new town and discovers a dangerous world of magic and monsters that she never knew existed.

When the Olympian Comet shoots through the sky for the first time in 3,000 years, Nicole and four others - including mysterious bad-boy Blake - are gifted with elemental powers. But the comet has another effect - it opens the portal to another dimension that has imprisoned the Titans for centuries. After an ancient monster escapes, it's up to Nicole and the others to follow a cryptic prophecy in time to save the town...and possibly the world.

A thrilling fantasy adventure in a contemporary setting with Greek mythology and sweet romance, Elementals will keep you on the edge of your seat wanting more!

What's wrong with adults in this book? How about some supervision! Let your students do all the hard work and risk their lives while you sit back and make rules...lol

Love the premise of this story and I'm anxious to read the next in the series. I love mythology and this series deals in the Greek mythos.

The characters are clearly defined and the story keeps the reader involved with the drama and action...not to forget the adventure and treasure hunt which keeps it moving forward.

Thank you Caitlin Kelly for lending your voice as narrator!

A life devoted to righting the wrongs.

I read this book first and loved it. I was very excited to learn that it had been turned into an audio book. I love this book even more as an audio. It brought the story to life. I can not wait for more audio books in this series.

loved it!

this book could have been interesting if the narrator hadn’t taken such annoying deep breaths while reading. sounded like a beached whale gasping for breath. annoying as all get out

I really enjoyed listening to this book, the narrator really bought the story to life. Caitlin Kelly's voice is soothing and easy to listen to, the quality was clear with no background noises.

It is a great story, well read and I highly recommend this audio book

Amazing Audio Book

I've read my share of YA novels ( a fan of Jennifer Armintrout). While this book wasn't bad it lacked real chemistry and clever writing. I would say this novel is ideal for the 13 to 16 yr old demographic. Most adults probably wouldn't be huge fans. That begin said I really liked the premise of the book. There's potential there maybe it will develop into something better within the next few novels.

Good but no Great

I had no idea what to expect but I am glad I downloaded this book. I like the twists and turns and the reader was really good and had different voices for each character that made it easier to distinguish each person. I really enjoyed it and can't wait to download the next ones!

A book you can get into and not want to stop listening to

Don't reject this book for being a YA. It's a well crafted fantasy novel with fun characters. A YA means that there's no overt sex, lots of teen angst but fun. And the narrator is perfect for the character.

YA yet worth a read for anyone who loves fantasy

I loved this audiobook. I had never heard anything narrated by Caitlin Kelly, but the combination of Michelle Madow's amazing story and her superb acting won me over.

A great audiobook

What did you like best about The Prophecy of Shadows? What did you like least?

I liked that it was clean with characters somewhat developed. I wish they had been a little more developed, and I wish our main character had not bitten her tongue so much. There are so many times when she started to say something but didn't and it would have made a more interesting dialogue if she had said what she thought. Also, she was too wrapped up in the love interest far too fast.

What was one of the most memorable moments of The Prophecy of Shadows?

Confrontation with Orthrus at the playground.

What aspect of Caitlin Kelly’s performance would you have changed?

She needs to project. Even with my volume on my phone up high, it was difficult to hear at times. The voice she used was often like a whisper.

If this book were a movie would you go see it?

No...I would wait for Redbox release.

Decent Story, Narrator Needs to Speak up...
