This series just keeps getting better with each book. As always check your trigger warnings. I devoured this book. This picked up directly after the last. I am OBSESSED with Orion. His character is so intriguing and captivating. I can visualize his cinnamon smell by listening/reading this book. There is passion, angst, slow burn, and so much adventure in this book! The slow burn had me on the edge of my seat and I loved every moment! I loved the development of the characters in this book, especially for Darius. His character is one that I’m not sure if I love or hate just yet. Tory and Darcy have their love interests as well. Also, we can not forget Geraldine with her lady patina eeek love it so much.

First of all Jake and Bridget did such an incredible job on the audio for this one (like all they do, let’s be serious) I am becoming so attached to these characters. I am so obsessed with each of them and I can’t wait to see how all of this plays out. Darius Acrux is a dreamboat! I love the twisted sisters and this series is easily a favorite.

Cannot get enough of this series!! This is my first listen through, and it’s only made me love this story and these characters more.

The story line got me on the edge of my seat and held me there. I was happy then angry, then crying, then full out giggling and laughing throughout the whole thing!! So so good!!

Hoooly. Ok I'm fully invested in this series - that ending was nuts. The way all of the relationships between characters have been evolving is so satisfying and the little pieces of lore I keep getting are like fuel to the fire. I need to know more!

There's still some cringe bits and the student/teacher relationship makes me a little uncomfy (even though I do genuinely like them as a couple), but I think at this point, the good is far outweighing the ick. Onward, onward.

Especially for Darius and Max - normal voice for Lance just shows it can be done, so this is a *choice*. It’s really distracting, probably have to switch to physical books
