About this listen

Ryan: I'm the newest Captain of the Devils, Chicago's NBA team, and the last thing I needed this year was for Indy Ivers, my sister's best friend, to move into my apartment. She's messy, emotional, and way too tempting.

But when the team's General Manager vocalizes his blatant disapproval of my promotion to Captain, referring to me as an unapproachable lone wolf with no work-life balance, I can't think of a better way to convince him otherwise than pretending to date my outgoing roommate. The only problem? Faking it feels far too natural.

Indy: I never imagined I'd be living with my best friend's brother, NBA superstar Ryan Shay. Even more unbelievable? He needs me to act as his loving girlfriend who's suddenly changed him into a friendly and approachable guy.

Soon blurred lines make it almost impossible to separate real from fake. Falling for my roommate was never part of the deal, especially when Ryan is quick to remind me that he doesn't believe in love.

I'm a romantic and can't help fantasizing that he'll change, but soon enough, I find myself questioning if sharing a roof with my best friend's brother was the right move after all.

Contains mature themes.

swooning

my favorite all wrapped up in this story. Grumpy, sunshine. close proximity, best friends brother, fake Dating.
5 ⭐ 3 🌶️ Ryan is my knew book boyfriend. protective golden retriever .
Indigo getting over heartbreak and the loss of her dream life stolen by a cheating ex. finds herself living with Ryan a little grumpy about sharing his space, but can't say no to his sister . Indigo and Ryan are navigating being so different and struggling to keep an attraction under control. I believed in the connection between the two of them.

Cute

The book wasn’t what I expected but I did enjoy the overall story. Usually the miscommunication trope in other books are eye roll worthy but all the twist and turns of the book felt more realistic and in a way could be appreciated since it spoke true to what the characters deal with. Worth the read.

RYAN SHAY

This is without a doubt one of my favorite books, and the audio only confirms how much I love the story and the characters.
Ryan and Indy are one of my favorite couples and I could read or listen to this book many times without being bored.
This story just made my expectations go through the roof, Ryan is everything that's right and Indy is great and funny, and you can relate to her and many aspects, well at least I could.

LOVE

Ryan Shay!! That man knows how to take care of his girl! Most of the time, Indy didn't even know he was taking care of her, and that made it even better! He had me swooning so much! He was a total sweetheart and just wanted someone to love him back! The nickname he gave her! Swoon! And Indy!! She may be my favorite FMC ever! She was so emotional, but that just means she loves hard! She was sassy but also took care of the people she loves. I loved the chemistry and banter between Ryan and Indy. This book was so emotional, loving, and sweet and had me giddy throughout the whole book!! I won't stop recommending this series!

I really enjoy this audio! The narrators did a great job portraying all the emotions in this story!

Spectacular

Ryan and Indy is the best book I have read in a long time. Their connection is amazing. Ryan’s story is heart wrenching to think people hurt others like that. The ending was spectacular. I hope these characters stay in the rest of the books and keep growing. Rio and Dom are great and I hope they get their own stories. Highly recommend this series. Fabulous writing!!!!

Annoying narration

The story was good for 80% of it. But the final “crisis” was kinda dumb. And both narrators were horrible with opposite gender main characters and side characters.

Such a pleasure to read

This author knows how to make the perfect men. The characters were so well developed, and I’m glad we were able to see the characters from the last book
