Story
In June 1993, a group of young guerilla filmmakers spent four weeks making Horror Movie, a notorious, disturbing art-house horror flick. The weird part? Only three of the film’s scenes were ever released to the public, but Horror Movie has nevertheless grown a rabid fanbase. Three decades later, Hollywood is pushing for a big budget reboot. The man who played “The Thin Kid” is the only surviving cast member. He remembers all too well the secrets buried within the original screenplay, the bizarre events of the filming, and the dangerous crossed lines on set that resulted in tragedy.

Story
Three low-income families have been given a handsome retainer to join Geraldine Borden for a day at her cliffside estate. All the parents must do to collect the rest of their money is allow their children to test out the revolutionary playground equipment Geraldine has been working on for decades. But there’s a reason the structures in the bowels of her gothic castle have taken so long to develop—they were never meant to see the light of day.

Story
These people will give anything for the idols they worship, be they rock stars, actors or authors. Or even serial killers. Lori is just such a fanatic. Her obsession is with Edmund Cox, a man of sadistic cruelty who butchered more than 20 women. She’s gone so far as to forge a relationship with him, visiting him in prison and sending him letters on a regular basis. She will do anything to get close to him, so when he gives her a task, she eagerly accepts it. She has no idea of the horror that awaits her.

Publisher's summary
There's a movie marathon happening at the Miller Cinema. Everyone is there, including young Georgie Prince.
Georgie is a horror fan, and he's excited to see some flicks he's never heard of.
He doesn't realize that there is something wrong with the movies.
It was an old tradition. A mix of cinema and stage show, where actors playing monsters leapt out of the screen and rampaged through the audience. The only problem is that this time ... they aren't acting!
Something is turning performers and employees into living, bloodthirsty nightmares!
It's THE SHRIEK-A-RAMA SPOOK SHOW EXPERIENCE ... and no one is safe!
SEE the shockingly resurrected mummy!
WITNESS the mauling teeth of the mad gorilla!
Be SEDUCED by the tempting wife of Dracula!
FEAR the unending chaos ... at the MILLER CINEMA!
Combining old-fashioned chills with modern characters, THE SHRIEK-A-RAMA SPOOK SHOW EXPERIENCE is one of Judith Sonnet's more fun and lighthearted creations! If you grew up watching retro movies, this book is going to drag you—kicking and screaming!—back to the good ol' days! From the co-author of NO ONE RIDES FOR FREE (ABSOLUTE CHAOS), and the writer behind BEAST OF BURDEN, LOW BLASPHEMY, and THE CLOWN HUNT!
Critic reviews
"Packed with interesting references to fun old horror flicks—even Edwige Fenech from many giallo films gets in there—Shriek-A-Rama is a fast-paced, creepy ride with a host of interesting characters—and victims. And a "socko" ending! Judith Sonnet fans will love it!"—William Schoell, author of Saurian
"The Shriek-A-Rama Spook Show Experience reads like a love letter to the golden age of kitschy horror cinema. I absolutely loved it!"—Robert Essig, author of Baby Fights
"Shriek-A-Rama is a full-throttle blast of nostalgia perfect for horror fans. I haven't had this much fun with a novel in a long time!"—Duncan Ralston, author of WOOM

Story
The modern audience hasn't had a chance to truly appreciate the unknowing dread that readers would have felt when reading Bram Stoker's original 1897 manuscript. Most modern productions employ campiness or sound effects to try to bring back that gothic tension, but we've tried something different. By returning to Stoker's original storytelling structure - a series of letters and journal entries voiced by Jonathan Harker, Dr. Van Helsing, and other characters - with an all-star cast of narrators, we've sought to recapture its originally intended horror and power.

Story
When the world ended ... we were left to fend for ourselves. Trapped in a mental health clinic, we watched from our window as everything around us fell to pieces. This is not a zombie apocalypse. It's not a nuclear holocaust either. And it's no plague ... but it's something worse. Something we couldn't have predicted.

Story
Who could possibly be miserable while vacationing on a beautiful sunny island with his best friends, surrounded by people having a wonderful time? Brandon. Brandon could. He hated everything about his life, himself most of all. Hated it so much, he’d begun contemplating just ending it rather than dragging himself through another boring day of being a nothing and a nobody and a pathetic loser.

Sisters Sarah and Chloe inherit a house they could never have previously dreamed of owning. It seems too good to be true. Shortly after they move in, however, the siblings start to notice strange things: horrible smells, sudden drops in temperature, as well as unexplainable sounds and feelings of being watched.

Thank you for writing this book.
I loved this book. Brought me back to a good times, and then entertained me in such a way that I'm all giddy and smiling. This book is great horror fun. I felt like I was watching a monster movie. I loved it. Also, the narration was perfect for this book. Listen to it. Read it. You're gonna love. So much fun.
